III.  Vocabulary Focus (8 хв) Advanced Vocabulary:

IV.   Reading (15 хв)

“The Power of Books”

Books have always played an important role in human history. Long before the Internet and телевізійні програми became popular, people learned about the world through literature.

Books were one of the main sources of information and entertainment.

Reading develops imagination because readers create pictures in their minds while following the plot. It also improves vocabulary and grammar, which helps students become more confident speakers and writers. Scientists say that people who read regularly have better memory and stronger critical thinking skills.

Some books have influenced millions of people around the world. For example, Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling has inspired children and teenagers to read more. The series teaches important values such as friendship, bravery and loyalty.

Another famous book, The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank, shows how literature can help us understand history and human emotions. This book has been translated into many languages and remains popular today.

Although modern technology offers many ways to get information quickly, books still remain a unique and powerful source of knowledge. They not only entertain us but also shape our personality and worldview.
