Clothes

     Objectives: to review colours, to introduce the vocabulary on the topic «Clothes»  and grammar structures «What have you got?/ I have got…»

Learning outcomes:

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to :

- use the new vocabulary (name the clothes words);

- make short sentences about clothes and its colour;

- tell about the clothes they have got at the moment of speaking, using the construction «I’ve got….»

 

Timing: 40 minutes

Aids/Materials:Student’s Book «English 2» by A. Nesvit,Work-book, Audio CD, flashcards with colours, flashcards with clothes items, Handouts.

- Pupils demonstrate an action for each word (e.g.: shirt– pull on a shirt, hat - put on a hat, etc.) Teacher divides the class into groups, gives each group a word from the chant. Each group says their line and does the actions in time with the audio.
