Autumn Holidays

The Day of Knowledge is the 1st autumn holiday, when children go to school and begin to study. This year we began our studies with the words, "Love Ukraine as the sun you love!"
On the 14th of October, 2007, there is 64th anniversary of UDA.
On the 1st of November we have the Day of Independence of the Western Ukrainian Republic and the day of Memory. On that day people visit cemeteries and light candles on the graves. Let us kindle in our hearts the memory of those who stood on the road of struggle in those days.
On the 1st of November every Ukrainian hangs the national flag on their house. At schools, institutes and public squares there are meetings.
On the 8th of November is the Feast of Demitrius, the Great Martyr (Демитрій- великомученик).
On the 21st of November is the Feast of St. Michael, the Archangel (Архангел Михаїл).
 
Осінні свята

День знань – перше осіннє свято, коли діти йдуть до школи й починають вчитися. Цього року ми почали своє навчання зі слів, "Любіть Україну, як сонце, любіть!".
14 жовтня 2007 р. буде 64-та роковина УПА.
1 листопада ми відзначаємо День Незалежності Західноукраїнської Республіки і День пам'яті. У цей день люди відвідують кладовища і запалюють свічки на могилах. Давайте запалимо в наших серцях пам'ять про тих, хто стояв на дорозі боротьби в ті дні.
1 листопада кожний українець піднімає національний прапор над його будинком. У школах, інститутах і на площах проводяться суспільні мітинги.
8 листопада – Святого Великомученика Демитрія (Демитрій – велико-мученик).
21 листопада – Свято Святого Архангела Михаїла.
