ALADDIN AND HIS MAGIC LAMP Part 2

Aladdin was now back home and said to his mother, «From now on, we shall not be poor. I've got a magic lamp, which can bring us anything we like! Now I can be rich like a Sultan and I want to marry the Princess!»

Next day Aladdin came to the palace with rich presents for the Sultan. «May I ask for the hand of the Princess?» said Aladdin to the Sultan. «Yes, you can marry her if you get a marble palace built for her by tomorrow», said the Sultan. Aladdin rubbed his magic lamp and the genie appeared. The young man ordered him to build the marble palace. No sooner said than done. The Sultan was very surprised, but kept his word and Aladdin married the charming Princess. They lived in the beautiful marble palace and were rich and happy.

Now the magician came to know of Aladdin and the Princess. He decided to steal the magic lamp. When Aladdin was not at home the wicked magician came to the Princess. He asked her to exchange the old magic lamp for a new one. The magician ordered the genie to carry the palace and the Princess to a far-off land.

Returning home Aladdin came to know of what had happened. Horrified Aladdin sat on the magic carpet he had found with the lamp inside the hollow. He followed the magician and soon caught him up. Aladdin tricked the magician: he made him a genie and locked him in the lamp.

Aladdin and the Princess returned to the marble palace and lived happily ever after.

2. Вивченая вірша «Му Book*.

Rhyme

Учитель роздає картки з віршем, в якому пропущено слова. Завдання учнів — заповнити пропуски поданими словами. Учні виконують завдання, потім хором читають текст вірша за вчителем. Троє-четверо учнів, за бажанням, декламують вірш.

3. Розвиток умінь діалогічного мовлення. Впр. 1 (с. 84).

Учні читають діалог за ролями. Потім у групах по двое-трое складають аналогічні діалоги: обговорюють, де краще брати книги для читаяня.

4. Активізація мовленнєвих зразків. РЗ, впр. 1 (с. 44).

Учні поєднують імена письменників з назвами книг, які вони написали. Після цього по черзі називають, хто є автором якої книги, та розповідають, що вони знають про ці книги.
