Тема: Узагальнення та систематизація знань учнів за темою “Listening to Music”. Лексико-граматичний тест.

Мета:

• навчальна:  активізувати та узагальнювати вміння використання в мовленні лексики за темою «Listening to Music», формувати лексичні навички говоріння, практикувати учнів у читанні тексту  з метою повного розуміння його змісту; тренувати навички аудіювання  за допомогою аудіозапису;
• розвиваюча: розвивати мовну здогадку та мовленнєву реакцію, навички використання граматичних структур Passive Voice (Present, Past, Future Simple) у мовленні (усному та писемному);
• виховна: виховувати любов до музики, естетичний смак;

Тип уроку: узагальнюючий ;

Обладнання: демонстраційні картки (Passive Voice), картки з ЛО для актуалізації опорних знань (mind-map), роздатковий матеріал (тренувальні вправи на використання лексики та граматики), аудіофайли (музичні уривки) для  сприймання на слух, завдання для лексико-граматичного тесту (ПК);

Хід уроку

I. Introduction

1. Greeting and aims:

 - Good morning, students! I am glad to see you!

Our today’s lesson is a bit unusual, because some guests have come to our lesson. I hope you are in a good mood and ready to work hard, because this lesson is the last in the topic “Listening to Music”. And you’ll get your final marks on this topic at the end of the lesson. So I wish you good luck and let’s start!

2. Introduction to a foreign language atmosphere:

- Look at the blackboard, please. Here you can the many words on the topic “Music”. Your task is to organize all these words into a mind-map.

ІІ. The Main Part of the Lesson

1. Revising vocabulary:

 - You have learnt a lot of words and expressions on the topic “Music”. Now let’s speak about musical instruments once again.

Task 1 Guess the musical instruments (роздаткові картки):

- And now let’s try to use these words in your speech.

Task 2 Complete the table and tell about one of the musical instruments:

e.g.: This musical instrument is a piano. Piano is a keyboard musical instrument. It is big and very heavy. People usually use piano to play classical music. I like it very much.

2.  Listening and Reading Comprehension

Task 1. The next task for you will be such: you’ll listen to several music patterns and identify each type of music:

Key: A – a violin solo, B – a Scottish dance, C – jazz, D – rap, E – an Irish folk song, F – rock’n’roll

Task 2. Open your books at p.101, ex. 3a. Listen to the dialogue and complete it with the correct replies. Read the dialogue in pairs.

3. Grammar Revision

Task 1 Let’s revise the rules of usage of the Passive Voice in the Present, Past and Future Simple (схеми побудови речень на дошці).

Task 2 Remake the given sentences into Passive Voice

1. My sister bought 2 tickets for the rock concert last week.
2. They sell CDs in this shop.
3. My friend usually listens to folk music.
4. We can hear music everywhere.
5. Sounds of nature usually inspire the musicians.
6. A famous composer wrote this symphony a century ago.

4. Lexical and grammatical test (the student must do it on the computers for 7-10 minutes)
