Методи: інтерактивні (робота в парах), ведення дискусії, діалогічні (ведення бесіди), випереджаючі завдання.

Тип уроку: засвоєння нових знань

Мета уроку (як намір учителя):

• вдосконалювати навички вживання нових лексичних одиниць;
• розвивати рецептивні навички читання та опрацювання тексту;
• розвивати операції мислення : аналізу, синтезу, порівняння та узагальнення;
• удосконалювати навички усного мовлення й читання;
• розвивати мовну здогадку й мовленнєву реакцію учнів;
• виховувати відповідальне ставлення до сім'ї та друзів.

Очікувані результати.  

Учень:

• вдосконалює навички вживання нових лексичних одиниць;
• розвиває рецептивні навички читання та опрацювання тексту;
• розвиває операції мислення : аналізу, синтезу, порівняння та узагальнення;
• удосконалює навички усного мовлення й читання;
• розвиває мовну здогадку й мовленнєву реакцію учнів;
• має відповідальне ставлення до сім'ї та друзів.

Обладнання: комп’ютер, підручник О.Д. Карп’юк «Англійська мова» 9 клас, роздатковий матеріал.

I.Організаційно-мотиваційний етап

1.Greeting, theme and aims:

T. Good morning, everybody! I am very glad to see you.

 God created this wonderful world.

He created a man. He wanted to see the man wise, honest, hard-working, open

handed and kind. But around us there are many different situations and often

our life is not a “bed of roses”. Then we need help. How do you think, what helps us in life?

P: Our parents/ our family/ our friends

T. Yes, of course. The richest people in the world are not those with the most money, but those with close true friends. So, today at the lesson we are going to speak about our friends.

2. Warming - up:

T. Listen to the poems about friends and friendship. Do you agree with the authors? Express your opinion as for friendship and real friends.

Friendship is a thing for two,

Three or four, even more,

Like a song that is made to sing.

Friendship is a doing thing.

Friends are people who share,

Friends are people who care.

They try to understand.

They give a helping hand.

T. Now try to say the principles of true friendship

T. Look at the exercise 4, match the words (1-8) with their definitions (and pictures) below. Please, pay attention how we say email addresses.

T. Listen to the kids and say how they describe themselves. (Ex 5(a), p 22)

1) Work in pairs. Speak on the following.

1. Why does Thomas say that it’s strange he has so many friends?
2. Why do Andrew and Ian get on so well?
3. Why does everybody like Dave?
4. Why does Carla’s sister think that Carla and her friend are stupid?
5. Why are Phil’s parents angry at him?

2) Work in groups. Think of people you know and who have these qualities. Speak in turns
