Урок  №10

Tема:              За будь-якої погоди.

Мета:  Повторити й активізувати Л0 за темою «Погода». Навчати спілкування за темою. Розвивати здібності учнів до антиципації тексту, діалогічне та монологічне мовлення. Продовжувати формувати навички читання та письма. Виховувати повагу до думки співрозмовника.

Обладнання: Підручник, робочий зошит, картки для індивідуальної роботи.

ХІД УРОКУ

I. ПІДГОТОВКА ДО СПРИЙНЯТТЯ ІНШОМОВНОГО МОВЛЕННЯ

1. Привітання.

T: Hello, children! How are you?

Ps: We are fine, thank you!

2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

Т: Today we'll remember how to speak about weather. We are going to revise the vocabulary on the topic, to listen to the text about the weather in Britain, discuss the pictures and read a dialogue. By the end of the lesson you'll be able to speak about dif' ferent types of weather. But first let's check on your homework.

3. Перевірка домашнього завдання.

1) РЗ, впр. 1 (с. 9).

Діти спочатку називають словосполучення, які вони склали з поданих слів. Потім по черзі читають речення, доповнені цими словосполученнями.

2) Дати письмову відповідь на запитання Where would you like to go on holidayI Учні ланцюжком читають свої відповіді.

4. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

Вивчення вірша «Rain».

Учитель читає дітям вірш, вони заповнюють пропуски в тексті вірша, що на картках. Потім учитель викликає трьох-чотирьох учнів, за їхнім бажанням, і просить роз-повісти вірш напам'ять.

Т: Look at the pictures on page 22 and read the words below the pictures. Which picture shows rainy and windy weather/fine and sunny weather etc.?

Т: Let's talk about the weather in different seasons. Answer the questions.

Now we are going to listen about the weather in Britain. Listen to the text and do the task on your card.

THE WEATHER IN BRITAIN

The weather in Britain is much different from that of Ukraine. The rivers and lakes don't freeze in winter, as it isn't cold enough. It doesn't often snow in winter; it more often rains. Besides, fogs are rather common in Britain, and we very seldom have fogs in Ukraine. It seems to me that it's not usually so hot and sultry in Britain in summer as it often is in our country. I can say that British climate is rather mild. It's free from extreme heat or cold. The weather is amazingly changeable. That's why the British like to say: «Other countries have a climate, in England we have weather.

1) Етап підготовки до читання.

а) Бесіда в режимі Т-Р 1^Р2^Р3.

Т: Look at the text on page 22. What kind of text is it — a story or a dialogue? What are the names of the speakers?

б) Подання лексичного матеріалу тексту.

Т: Let's remember the rhyme «Rain again. There were the words:

«It was raining, raining heavily.

What does it mean?

Does it mean a strong rain?

What other words for heavy rain do you know?

When it's raining heavily, the English say: «It's raining cats and dogs».

Another new word in the text is «a pocket». We have pockets on our clothes. Who has a pocket? What is there in your pockets?

The next new word «to push» you can see on the door. If the door opens from you, you should push it, if it opens towards you, you usually pull it.

Учитель показує, що йому холодно та він дрижить. Look at me. I’m shivering. When do people shiver? When they are cold or if they are afraid of something. Look at the translation'of the words squirted and wiggled — it's below the text. Let's remember what the word «improve» means. It means to get better.

2) Етап читання.

T: Let's read the text in parts.

Діти читають текст вправи за ролями: один з учнів читає слова Ганни, другий — Джейн, третій — слова автора.

3) Етап перевірки розуміння змісту тексту.

а) Впр. З (с. 22).

Учні в парах ставлять один одному запитання за текстом впр. 2 (с. 22) і відповідають на них.

б) Виконання завдання на картках.

Учитель роздає учням картки з діалогом із тексту вправи 2 (с. 22) і просить їх заповнити пропуски в діалозі (або за допомогою підручника, або без опори на текст).

Учні в парах, спираючись на текст, наведений на картках, відтворюють діалог. Учитель пропонує двом-трьом парам розповісти діалог класу.

4. Розвиток умінь мовлення.

Учні розглядають малюнки й по черзі описують погоду, зображену на них.

2) Впр. 4Ь (с. 23).

Учні в парах ставлять один одному запитання, запропоновані у вправі, і заповнюють таблицю.

3) Бесіда в режимі T-1P-2P3. Впр. 4с (с. 23).
