Підтема:  Вибір професії. Плани на майбутнє. Узгодження часів в англійській мові (повторення )

Мета:  Повторити ЛО теми “Вибір професії”, “Плани на майбутнє” та граматичний матеріал “Узгодження часів в англійській мові” (The Secuense of Tenses).

Методико – дидактичне

забезпечення уроку:  підручник “A sentence game”(НО₁), зірочки для підрахування очків для гри “A sentence game”, таблиця “Узгодження часів в англійській мові”(НО₂).

ХІД УРОКУ:

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення

 Aim  

1. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

T: The topic of our lesson is “Choosing a profession. Our plans for the future”. We have to review the word and word combinations for this topic and the grammar: The Sequence of Tenses.

 By the end the lesson you should be able:

• to operate the words and word combination for the topic: “Choosing a profession”, “People and occupations”;
• to review the grammar: “The Sequence of Tenses”;
• to conduct your own dialogues using the given one as an example.

Warm – up    

2. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

Гра “Bingo”

T: In you notebook write 9 profession. Do it in pen on new page of your notebook  or on a sheet of paper.

    I will call out one profession at a time. If you hear one of your profession, put your hand up and cross the word out the winner is the first student to cross out all his/her words and shouts “Bingo!”

1. Reading. Виконати впр. 11а (стор.81 - 82)

T: Read the words, words – combinations and sentences with the translation.

2. Translating. Виконати впр. 11с (стор. 81 - 82)

T:  Cover the left side of the page and translate the words, words – combinations and sentences into English in 2 minutes.

3. Practicing vocabulary. Перевірка вживання вивчених ЛО теми.

T: Finish the sentences.

Many roads are open before…

I’ll go to the tenth form to receive …

At technical school you can get …

I want to become a turner like father, so, I’ll go to …

But it an easy thing to choose …

4. A sentence game. Лексична гра.

(HO₁): 

1. Choose a word or word combination from the word square.
2. Make up a centence with the word combination to the topic “My plans for the future”. You get one point for a correct sentence.

Правила організації гри:

Учитель ділить клас на дві команди: А і Б. Учні дивляться на слова й словосполучення в таблиці та придумують речення, які можливо скласти за темою “Наші плани на майбутнє”.

Учитель обирає по одному учаснику з команд А і Б. Учень з команди А вибирає одне слово або словосполучення з таблиці. Учень з команли Б складає речення, використовуючи це слово ябо словосполучення. Він отримує одне очко (1 counter) за правильне речення. Далі учень з команди Б складає речення зі слова або словосполучення, яке вибирає йому учень з команди А.

Учитель надає 12 можливостей командам (по 6 кожній) для складання. Переможцем є команда, яка набрала більшу кількість очок.

Далі учні грають у команді з 4 учнів. Двоє з них – команда А, двоє – команда Б

Oral Practice:   

2. Практикування учнів у діалогічному мовленні.

1. Pairwork. Робота в парах.

  T:  Ask the questions of ex. 12, p. 82 – 83 in parіs.

2. Language work. Практикування учнів у створенні питань.

  T:  Ask as many questions as you to get mire information.

        This year I am finishing the ninth form.

3. Listening. Прослуховування діалогу з голосу учителя або магнітофонного запису.

  T: Listen to the dialogue of ex. 23, p. 86

4. Reading. Читанння запропонованих діалогів

  T: Read the dialogues of ex. 23, p. 86 in pairs

       Читання діалогу в парах.

5. Acting aut. Інсценування діалогу.

  T:  Dramatize the dialogue in pairs.

6. Dialogue building. Складання учнями власних діалогів з використанням зразка впр. 23 (стор 86)

Для учнів з більш слабкою підготовкою запропонувати мовні опори на дошці.

   T:  Make up your oun dialogues.

My plans for the future.

• I’ll go to … and what about you?
• As for me, I want to become … So, I’ll go to … And what about your plans for the future?
• I don’t know exactly, but …

3. Повторення граматичного матеріалу: “Узгодження часів в англійській мові”

1. Discussing grammar. Робота з грамтичним довідником.

T: Read § 42 on p. 147 of the Reference Grammar and finish the table.

(HO₂):

Key: 1 Present Continuous; 2 Past Perfect

2. Language work. Тренування учнів у вживанні правила узгодження часів.

T:  Translate the Ukrainian sentences of ex. 19, p. 86 into English using the table “The Sequence of Tenses” (HO₂) orally and write down the table “The Sequence of Tenses” in you vocabulary.

Homework  

1. Домашнє завдання.

Підготувати завдання 9 (стор. 104 - 105) для уроку позакласного читання.

    Перекласти речення впр.19 стор (86) на англійську мову, використовуючи таблицю узгодження часів.

     What is the best way to find English equivalent while translating from Ukrainian when the verb in main sentences is used in the past?
