“UKRAINE IS THE ONLY ONE”

Обладнання: зал, прикрашений національними символами, картою України, повітряними кульками національних кольорів, надписами Motherland, Homeland, Native country, Mother country, синьо-жовтими сердечками та метеликами; ноутбук, проектор, презентація.

ХІД ЗАХОДУ:

Звучить музика, діти стоять на сцені за ширмою. Заставка (з Україною).

Teacher: Hello everyone! How are you? You know that we live in Ukraine. So, we are… UKRANIANS! (промовляють діти, які на сцені, піднявши догори руки у синьо-жовтих рукавичках).

Учні розказують вірші.

1. WE are Ukrainians!

We live in Ukraine.

This is the place

Where Shevchenko was from.

2. WE are Ukrainians!

We live in Ukraine.

This is the place

Where you can hear the trembits play.

3. WE are Ukrainians!

We live in Ukraine.

Europe is here,

Its center is in Ukraine.

The motherland of Cossaks

And Glory is land.

Speaker 1: Dear friends, we are pleased to see you at our event.

Speaker 2: You know that Ukraine is a nice place to live in and we are going to speak about Ukraine, Ukrainians, Ukrainian traditions, Ukrainian symbols and glory.

Звучить гімн України.

Speaker 1: Ukraine is our native land, our Motherland. Іt’s an independent powerful state located in the heart of Europe. It’s a very beautiful country.

Speaker 2: Україна – це наша рідна земля, наша Батьківщина. Це незалежна могутня держава, розташована в центрі Європи. Це дуже красива країна.

Speaker 1: We can admire picturesque slopes of the green Carpathians and the Crimean Mountains, the green forests of Poltava, Chernihiv and Kyiv, the endless steppes of Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odesa. It is the land of woods, lakes and rivers.

Speaker 2: Ми можемо милуватися мальовничими схилами зелених Карпат і Кримських гір, зеленими лісами Полтавщини, Чернігівщини та Київщини, безкрайніми степами Херсонщини, Миколаївщини та Одещини. Це край лісів, озер і річок.

Speaker 1: Ukraine has an ancient history. It has its own original culture and traditions. Speaking about Ukraine we cannot fail to mention its symbols.

Speaker 2: Україна має давню історію. Має свою самобутню культуру і традиції. Говорячи про Україну, не можна не згадати про її символи.

Teacher: Let’s watch, listen and say the words.

Teacher: You have learnt some words. Let’s check up your knowledge. Match the halves of the picture and read the word on it.

Activity “Hearts” (Cossacks, trident, vyshyvanka, borsch, viburnum).

Speaker 2: Nowadays it becomes more and more popular to wear our national traditional clothes – embroidered shirt. We call them “vyshyvanka”. Our embroidery is well-known all over the world. In Ukraine it has became the symbol of out identity.

Speaker 1: В наші дні все більш популярним стає національний одяг – вишита сорочка. Ми їх називаємо «вишиванками». Наша вишиванка відома в усьому світі. В Україні вона стала символом нашої ідентичності.

Speaker 2: We can show you how perfect it can be. We offer to your attention the parade of our national clothes.

Speaker 1: Ми можемо показати вам, наскільки це може бути гарно. Пропонуємо вашій увазі парад нашого національного одягу.

На сцену виходять учні 3-х класів у вишиванках

 під музику «Доброго вечора, ми з України».

Speaker 2: Ukrainians are rather cheerful people. They like to sing and dance. Are you Ukrainians? (учні відповідають yes!) Great! So, let’s prove it and dance.

Звучить музика «Калина».

Усі присутні виконують рухи, які демонструють двоє учнів.

Speaker 1: Today we are writing a new page in the history of our country. All Ukrainians are fighting for their freedom and democracy. Nowadays all over the world Ukraine is associated with the words such as freedom, will, independence, glory, unbreakable and brave. Remember the words and let’s stick them on the map.

Speaker 2: Сьогодні ми пишемо нову сторінку в історії нашої країни. Усі українці борються за свободу і демократію. Нині в усьому світі Україна асоціюється з такими словами, як свобода, воля, незалежність, слава, незламність і мужність. Запам’ятайте ці слова і наклейте їх на карту.

Ці слова написані на трафаретах голубів миру,

які учні прикріплюють на мапу України.

Speaker 2: The Ukrainian people are proud of their country. Ukrainians keep their traditions with great honor. As you have already known one of the symbols of Ukraine is kalyna or a viburnum. There are a lot of legends and songs about this tree. The best-known song in our days is “Ой у лузі червона калина…” Let’s listen to it and sing together.

Speaker 1: Український народ пишається своєю державою. Українці з великою шаною бережуть свої традиції. Як ви вже знаєте, одним із символів України є калина. Про це дерево складено багато легенд і пісень. Найвідоміша пісня в наш час – «Ой у лузі червона калина…». Давайте послухаємо її та заспіваємо разом.

Учениця виконує пісню англійською та українською мовами.
