United In Diversity

(звучить мелодія шоу і виходять ведучі)

Presenter2: (girl) Hello, dear friends! Today you’re going to enjoy the parade of European languages you’ve never seen before.

Presenter1: (boy) You’ll see that despite the diversity of languages people can be united.

P2: We can make ourselves understood not only by the means of gestures, mimics or other kinds of body language ...

P1: Music, art, literature, sport and even cuisine are the things that make different nations one big community.

P2: It’s high time to invite the representativers of different European countries to the stage.

(звучить мелодія шоу і під відео ролик виходять учні з прапорами Європейських країн, підходять до мікрофону і вітаються різними мовами. Займають місця на сцені і хором говорять девіз шоу “United In Diversity»)

P 1: But what can really unite us?

(9 дітей виходять з літерами і говорять фрази)

Let you be understood all over the world

Always help you to find the way

Never make you feel lonely

Give you confidence in life

Unite people of different ages

Actually you can’t live without

Get you though life successfully

Every day you speak and hear

Strangers are made friends

All together: LANGUAGES -unite us in diversity!

(Children dance a sport dance in T-shirts with flags)

ROUND ONE

P2: Each language begins with words so I offer to start our show with the WORD -GAME

P1: But first let`s devide our participants into three teams: Green , Red and Yellow

(учасники підходять до ведучих і під музику витягують стрічку певного кольору і розходяться по командах)

P2:  As for the teams from the audience thеу are already devided into Raw A, Raw B, Raw C .

P1: So Raw A supports Green Team, Raw B supports Red Team and Raw C supports Yellow Team

P2:  After the teams build the name of a European country, the teams from the audience will get bonuses for translating this name into as many languages as they can.

P1: So off we go!

(10 names of countries)

Announcer: (Announces the results)

ROUND 2

(на екрані заставка і музика всі аплодують, вітаючи переможців)

P1: Words make phrases. So It’s natural to continue our game with the words of wisdom in different languages.

P2: You`ll hear the beginnings of well-known sayings and proverbs in English, French,  German, Polish or Ukrainian and your task is to produce the endings.

P1: If the team is anable to come up with the answer, the supporting raw is welcome to help.

(кожна з команд отримує 5 початків прислів’їв на п’яти мовах. По черзі зачитують початки прислів’їв, які відображаються на екрані, команди намагаються завершити їх.

Announcer: (Announces the results)

ROUND 3

(на екрані заставка і музика всі аплодують, вітаючи переможців)

Presenter1: (boy) Hey, Solomia! Look what a great day it is today. I` m enjoying this game so much that I can’t help singing.

Presenter2: (girl)WOW! I`ve never known you could sing! And what are you going to sing?

P.1: Well, actually, not me but Tania Yuhova is going to sing.....for us.

(Таня Югова співає пісню «»)

P2: Ok. It was amazing! Our participants have got a nice impact to go on with the next round that also deals with music

P1: Well, we play a popular European song for you and as soon as you recognize it hurry up to the microphone and tell the name and the country it is from.

Announcer: Don’t be shy to sing so we could do it together! Raws A,B and C don’t forget to support your teams and do your best at singing !

 (учасники трьох команд слухають фрагмент мелодії і той. Хто відгадав першим підбігає до мікрофону і наспівує під музику)

ROUND 4

(на екрані заставка і музика всі аплодують, вітаючи переможців)

P1: Our next round is called “Famous  writers - famous works”

P2: This task is really very easy because you`ll enjoy watching the scences from the world`s greatest masterpieces.

P1: However the trick is that you won`t hear a single word.

P2: You  should guess the author, the masterpiece and the country the events take place.

P1: Dear audience, please cheer up our performers!

(три пантоміми)

Announcer: (Announces the results)

ROUND 5

P1: Are you still enjoying our game?

P2: You are going to enjoy it even more I`m sure as we`ve got an incredible surprise for you.

P1: Do you like flash-mobs?

P2: Have you ever taken part in?

P1: Well, let us creat one!

P2:But before we start let`s learn the simple words you need.

P1: Look at the screen and repeat after us!

(ведучі в мікрофон зачитують слова пісні, а глядачі та учаcники повторюють)

P2: Now our participants will show you simple movements you should repeat! (ведучі, учасники та танц. група показують жести і в мікрофон зачитують слова пісні, а глядачі та учаники повторюють)

Announcer: So, everyone is ready for the flash-mob! OFF WE GO!!!!
