                                                                               Honey, I Shrunk the Kids

This great sci-fi comedy is about a man who has created a machine at home that can make people and things extremely small. This man, Wayne, works in a lab with other scientists who do not believe him about it. The film begins when Wayne is at work while his children (Amy and Nick) are doing some chores at home. Suddenly, a ball from the window hits the machine and turns it on. It turns out Ron, a boy who lives next door, was playing baseball and it was his ball. He comes with his older brother Russ to get it back, but Nick and Amy are not very happy about it. As they enter the room, the machine shrinks them and they become as tiny as a fly. They hear that Wayne has returned home and they scream for help. However, he cannot hear the kids because they are too small. Wayne sweeps the floor and accidently throws out the garbage with the kids. Amy, Nick, Ron and Russ make their way through the trash into the garden, but coming back to the house is not so easy. Wayne discovers what has happened to the children, and he tries different ways to find and save them. After many

adventures they are found and turned back to their normal sizes. This film is neither sad nor scary. In fact, it is quite funny and exciting! I recommend it to everyone who enjoys watching something both interesting and fun.
