Святкування Різдва на Україні

Тема:Святкуємо Різдво.

Мета:Продовжувати знайомити учнів із традиційними українськими святами.

Розширювати лексичний запас,закріпити новий граматичний матеріал(пасивний стан минулого неозначеного часу).

Виховувати повагу до народних традицій.

Обладнання:Підручник, граматичні вправи, завдання для аудіювання.

Хід уроку

1.Introductory Talk   1.Вводна бесіда за темою уроку.

                                  Бесіда на базі наступного прислів’я

                           Т: People say: ’’So many countries so many customs’’. How do you understand this proverb? Give your Ukrainian equivalent.

                      Після висловлювань учнів.

                    Т: Let me change this proverb a little bit:’’ So many countries so many customs and traditions’’.

Aim      2.Повідомлення теми та завдань уроку.

             Т:So today we’ll go on with our topic ‘’Holidays and traditions’’. You’ll revise the topic words;

           revise grammar(the Passive Voice);

           do some exercises.

II.Основна частина Уроку

Check up   1.Перевірка домашнього завдання.

                   Виконати впр.13(стор.23).Учні читають ланцюжком словосполучення та речення.Перекладаючи їх на англійську мову.Робота проводиться за схемою Р1-Р2-Р3...Потім учні читають власні складені речення.

Впр.16(стор.24)перевіряємо на дошці.Визвати когось з учнів до дошки писати переклад. Решта класу перевіряє.

                 1)Прочитайте вірш,записаний на дошці.

         T: Point out the sentences with verbs in the Active Voice and sentences with verbs in the Passive  Voice. Say the rules.

                           Christmas Traditions in Ukraine

Christmas season is the most festive time of the year in Ukraine. Students and pupils usually have a 2 week’s vacations, which begins just before the New Year and ends almost in the middle of January. Although no one knows exactly when Jesus was born ,the people of Ukraine celebrate his birthday on the 7^th of January. Christmas Day is probably the most exciting day of the year for most Ukrainian children. They know that they will get presents, just as they do on their birthdays, but on Christmas Day most of them will also see what their brothers and sisters have received. Children also have the pleasure of giving presents, which is often as satisfying as receiving them.

This day was a festival long before Christianity because ancient people believed that this was the time when the sun good started his journey back to earth. It is a custom for Ukrainian people to congratulate each other on the occasion of Christmas, and they wish each other happiness, good luck in everything. On this  day many families attend churches to be present at services held there. In short, Christmas is a great day for the celebration of Jesus’s birthday.
