 "ABC Magic World"

(для учнів початкових класів та їх батьків)

 

Під звуки мелодії діти заходять до класу і співають:

 

We met by chance,

Although just recently

The teacher invited us

To the world of extraordinary,

Magical little people

And fairy-tale animals.

And in this wonderful world,

Familiar and magical,

We can find ourselves,

As soon as we enter the classroom.

And in our schedule -

English lessons,

The terribly interesting

English language.

Hurry up, dads, moms,

Keep an eye on us,

We will study

The English language.

 

Учитель.  Good afternoon, dear children!

 

Діти. Good afternoon dear teacher, dear mothers and fathers, dear…

 

Учитель. That’s fine. Now I want to see if all the letters of the alphabet are here. You are welcome, letters.

 

(Діти представляють літери з малюнками або іграшками.)

 

1. Letter A

A is for Apples and Apple-trees.

You can see apples on apple-trees.

 

2. Letter B

B is for Books and Bookcase.

I have many books in my bookcase.

 

3. Letter C

C is for Cat. My cat isn’t grey

And with me it likes to play.

 

4. Letter D

D is for Dog and for Doggy.

I have a dog, not a doggy.

 

5. Letter E

E is for Eight and for Eleven.

How much is eight and eleven?

 

6. Letter F

F is for Flowers: red and blue,

White and yellow and rosy, too.

 

7. Letter G

G is for Girl, and also for Garden.

I see a girl going to the garden.

 

8. Letter H

H is for Hand. I have two hands.

This is the way I clap my hands.

 

9. Letter I

I is for I. I’m a boy, and I’m ten.

I like to play with my friends.

 

10. Letter J

J is for Jam. This is an apple jam.

Jimmy likes it, and so does Sam.

 

11. Letter K

K is for Kite. Kate has a kite.

It is little and it is white.

 

12. Letter L

L is for Letter. This letter is for me.

It is from my sister, as you can see.

 

13. Letter M

M is for May and for May Day.

For March and for Mother’s Day.

 

14. Letter N

N is for Nine, Ninety and Ninety-nine.

Children, how much is ninety and nine?

 

15. Letter O

O is for One. One and two is three.

Three little cats are in a tree.

 

16. Letter P

P is for Pencils. With them I can draw.

A red pen, a green tree or a blue door.

 

17. Letter Q

Q is for Questions: How are you?

How old are you? And How do you do?

18. Letter R

R is for Red. Many things are red.

What can de red? Do you know, Fred?

 

19. Letters S

S is for Street. This is my street.

There are a lot of trees in my street.

 

20. Letter T

T is for Tick and for Tock.

“Tick-took”, says clock.

 

21. Letter U

U is for Under, but not for at,

“I’m under the tree”, says Pat.

 

22. Letter V

V is for Five and also in Seven.

It is in Twelve and in Eleven.

 

23. Letter W

W is for Winter when it is cold.

But I like winter and I like cold.

 

24. Letter X

X is for siX. Let’s count up to six!

One, two, tree, four, five, six!

 

25. Letter Y

Y is for Yard where children play.

They play in the yard every day.

 

26. Letter Z

Z is for the Zoo. Let’s go to the Zoo.

I like to go to the Zoo. And you?

 

(Діти співають пісню «The ABC»).

 

Учитель. Now, let me see if you know the ABC.

 

Let’s divide ourselves into 2 teams “Daffodills” and “Tulips” and we must choose our board of jury.

 

Конкурс 1. (the 1-st Game). Кожній команді дається по 5 літер. Скласти їх в алфавітному порядку.

 

Конкурс 2. На 2-х аркушах записаний алфавіт. Знайдіть пропущені літери.

 

Конкурс 3. Гра “ Spell the word, please”.  Вчитель показує кожній команді карту зі словом і каже: “Spell the word, please”. Учень називає слово, і якщо відповідь правильна, то команда робить крок уперед (і т.д, хто перший дійде до вчителя).

 

Вчитель. Oh, you know how to spell. But can you read?

 

Діти. Yes, we can.

 

Вчитель. We’ll see it in a moment.

 

Конкурс 4. На дошці написані слова. Учасники від кожної команди із закритими очима указкою вказує на слово, відкриває очі та читає слово. (Коли учень шукає слово, команда промовляє:

 

Tick-tack-toe,

Here I go:

If I don’t miss,

I’ll take this.)

 

Вчитель. That’s nice. And now we

                  want to know our score.

 

Слово – журі.

 

Вчитель. I think you are tired a little.

                 Let’s have a short rest.

 

(Звучить музика і танець «1,2,3 on the tiptoes»

 Після танцю роздається стукіт у двері.)

 

Вчитель. What’s that? Hushhh!

 

Діти. Who are you?

          I’m Karlson.

 

Діти. Where do you live?

          Where are you from?

          Have you a mother?

          What’s her name?

          How old are you?

          Do you like jam?

          Do you like English?

 

Вчитель. Ну що, діти, запросимо до себе на свято Карлсон?

 

Діти. Yes, of course. Karlson! Let us try to be polite.

           In everything we do, Remember always to say Please

          And don’t forget «Thank you».

 

Вчитель. You may sit down, please.

 

Карлсон. Thank you.

 

Вчитель. I see that you know the ABC, you can spell and read,

                but can you count?

 

Діти. Certainly!

 

Вчитель. Count from I to 20!

                 Count from 20 to I!

                 Well, now do sums.

 

Конкурс 5. На дошці записані приклади. Треба назвати їх

                    англійською мовою і написати відповідь.

 

Конкурс 6.  Кожній команді надається аркуші з цифрами,

                     причому цифри на ньому незвичайні – це зачакловані

                     злим чарівником наші друзі. Якщо ми відгадаємо,

                     ми врятуємо їх.

 

Конкурс 7. Вчитель показує геометричні фігури,

                    а діти їх називають.

Вчитель. O. K. You know Mathematics well!

2-й учень. I want to live

                  And not to die

                  I want to laugh

                  And not to Cry.

 

3-й учень. I want to fly

                   Into the blue,

                   I want to swim

                   As fishes do.

 

Вчитель. Дорогі мами і тата!

 

                Ваші діти говорять, що хочуть жити і сміятись,

                що прагнуть в небі синьому літати і по життю,

                як рибоньки, пливти.

 

                Вони вас люблять, тат і мам, і запитують,

                чи й ви їх так само любите.

 

        Скажіть англійською.

 

Батьки. Yes, we do!

 

Вчитель. А зараз конкурс для тат і мам.

                 Відгадайте наші пісні.

                 («Жило-було у бабусі сіреньке козеня»)

                 («Я на сонечку лежу»)

 

4.     I go, go, go. I go to the Zoo.

I see an orange tiger and a brown kangaroo

Tap, tap, tap (tap, tap, tap).

I see a white cat. I see a brown lion,

A green crocodile, a parrot,

Monkey, a bear and I see a grey hare.

              («Ми їдемо, їдемо, їдемо»)

 

5.     I am, you are, he is, she is.

We are, you are, they are.

                           («У лісі народилась ялинка»)

 

Вчитель. Ну що ж, журі, вам слово.

            Отже, перемогла «Friendship» - дружба.

 

Діти. Friendship! Friendship! Friendship!

 

і співають пісню «Bright blue the sky».

 

Вчитель. Ось і настав час сказати  «дякую». Всім, хто нам допомагав.
