Тема: The history of hoodie ( Історія худі)

Мета: повтори лексику по темі; ознайомити учнів з новими ЛО теми «Одяг»;

розвивати навички аудіювання і читан­ня,  діалогічного мовлення;

вдосконалювати навички усного мов­лення; тренуватись у описі зображень за схемою; закріпити вивчений граматичний матеріал «Порядок описових

прикметників» у реченні;  розви­вати комунікативні здібності; виховувати інтерес до предмету

Обладнання: підручник рівня B1(Focus 3 2^nd edition Unit 1 Lesson 1.8); презентація,

             відеофрагмент “The humble hoodie”, картки, відеогра Wordwall «Adjectives 

             order”

Тип  уроку: комбінований з використанням мультимедійних технологій.

І. ПІДГОТОВКА ДО СПРИЙНЯТТЯ ІНШОМОВНОГО МОВЛЕННЯ

1.Greeting

-Good morning, pupils! How are you?

2. Aim.

-Today we'll speak about fashion. During the lesson you’ll know about the history of such a garment as hoodie, we’ll discuss why it is a popular piece of clothes all over the world

3. Warming up

-You’ll see the questions on the screen. Take turns to answer them.

a). BRAINSTORMING:

1). Name some things you wear on your legs

2). Name the things you wear to look smart

3). Name the clothes you wear in a cold weather

4). Name some things you wear on a beach holiday

5). Name some things that only women wear

6). What is your favourite place for shopping?

7). What do you think clothes we wear tell about us?

b). Describing appearance in the photo: -work in groups, describe a person in your photo to the other group. Then we’ll check your masterpieces

ІІ. ОСНОВНА ЧАСТИНА УРОКУ

1. Перевірка домашнього завдання

-For today’s lesson your task was to role play the dialogues about a tattoo. You had different parts: mother, father, elder brother or sister and a grandma/grandpa. So, now present you dialogues.

2. Повторення граматичного матеріалу «Порядок прикметників для опису»

   a). Повторення схеми вживання прикметників згідно правила (розмістити картки у правильному порядку)

   b). Онлайн-гра Wordwall –закріплення граматичного матеріалу

2. Опрацювання тектстів для читання: учні отримують три тексти, вони повинні зрозуміти, про який одяг ідеться у кожному тексті

4. Перегляд навчального відео

1) Pre-listening/watching  activity

    a. Ознайомлення з новими ЛО: humble, timeless, understated, urban, utalitarian

    b. Підібрати до визначення відповідне слово (додатково)

2) While-watching  activity: complete the hoodie timeline

3) Post-watching
