T: Today at the lesson we are going on a tour to the kingdom, where you`ll learn some new words, listen to and learn a poem and will have lots of interesting activities.
II Main Part
T: Before we set off, let`s find out some necessary words. Look at the screen and repeat after me:
T: I hope, we can go now. Are you ready? Then watch the video, listen to the poem and repeat 2
This is the Key of the Kingdom:
In that Kingdom there is a city;
In that city there is a town;
In that town there is a street;
In that street there is a lane;
In that lane there is a yard;
In that yard there is a house;
In that house there is a room
In that room there is a table;
And on that table there is a basket,
A Basket full of Flowers
T: Now look at the screen, read the poem and change the pictures in it to the words which you already know
(Children can see a poem with pictures instead of words on the screen. They read it aloud and substitute the pictures)
T: Try to retell the verse using only pictures.
T: You’ve worked really hard. Are you tired? Do you want to make a short break to move around?
(Pupils repeat moves from the video “Jump, Run and Shout! 3 and sing the song)
T: Look at the pictures on the screen and remember the rules.
Example: There IS a park in the city. There ARE trees in the park.
T: Put the rest of the words from the box into the correct column:
Flowers/ the sun/ a town/ people/ children/ the sky/ cars/a key.
