Хід уроку
I. Introduction
1) Greeting.
Good morning, children! Take your seats. Let`s begin our lesson.
2. Announcing the aims and the topic.
T: Dear children! Today we have unusual lesson. So, today we are going to talk about travelling to different parts of Ukraine.
3. Warming up.
T: By the way, I want to know if you like to travel. Do you like to travel?
P1: Yes, I do. I like it a lot.
T: OK. Summer is coming. Where do you like to go in summer?
P1: I like to go to the Black sea.
P2: I like to go to the Carpathian mountains.
P3: I like to go to Askania Nova.
P4: I like to go to the Shatsk National Nature Park.
P5: I like to go to the country.
P6: I like to go to the Azov sea.
T: How can you travel?
P1: I can travel by car.
P2: I can travel by plane.
P3: I can travel by train.
P4: I can travel by ship.
P5: I can travel on foot.
P6: I can travel by bus.
T: Now I know that you like to travel. We can travel by car, by train, by plane, on foot. We can go to the seaside, to the mountains, to the plains, to the bay and to the country. As for me I like traveling, too.
T: What can you say about the Carpathian Mountains?
P1: They are on the west of Ukraine and they are very picturesque.
P2: The highest peak is Hoverla.
P3: Thousands of tourists visit them every year. They admire polonynas in any time of the year.
T. Where is the Black sea?
P1: It’s on the south of Ukraine.
T: What can you do there?
P2: We can swim, play on the beach, look for shells, go fishing….
T: What animals live in Askania Nova?
P3: There are zebras, antelopes, deer, llamas, Shetland ponies, the Przewalski horses, American bisons, saiga antelopes and many other animals.
II. Main part.
4. Doing project.
T: Today we’ll travel from Kyiv to Odesa by plane, from Kyiv to Yaremcher by train, then have a trip from Kyiv to Kherson. You’ll be active, energetic and helpful! Let’s start our work!
T: Now we should divide into 3 groups. The first group is going to the Carpathian Mountains, the second group is going to the Black sea and the third group is going to Askania Nova National Reserve National Reserve
T: We have three groups and three tasks.
At first each group do sum on the card.
1 group- Calculate the travel time if the distance Kiev-Yaremche
is 750 km and the speed of the train is 60 km /h.
Make a model of sea.
2 group- Calculate the travel time if the distance Kiev-Odessa is 440 km and the speed of the aircraft is 750 km / h.
Make a model of mountains
3 group- Calculate the travel time if the distance Kiev-Askania Nova
is 700 km and the speed of the bus is 90 km /h.
Make a model of steppe.
