Our beloved Motherland is in the flames of the war now. It was russia who launched the offensive on the 24^th of February 2022. That early morning started with the air-raids sirens. All the country was terrified with the awful airstrike. Enemy’s missiles were flying over our peaceful cities and villages. Lots of civilians were killed during the first minutes of the attack. Unfortunately, our air defense system wasn’t able to withstand the strikes, but our unbelievably brave soldiers started to fight no matter the poor resources they had. To protect our freedom and independence all Ukrainian patriots merge in one force. Each real Ukrainian did, does and will do everything to support the resistance to the aggression of the terrorist country which destroys our cities, kills our people. Our courageous Armed Forces, our civilians contribute to the victory over the enemy together.

We can’t but say about the tremendous help and support of the whole progressive world. The USA, the UK, the European Union send heavy weapons, Armored Personnel Carriers, tanks, fighter planes, winter uniform, body-armors and lots more. From the foreign partners Ukraine also receives huge financial support.

The volunteers from all over the world help greatly too. You can meet the volunteer centers in our support in Barcelona and Prague, in Gdansk and Vienne, in London and Milan. The modern progressive world stands up to confront the barbaric cruelty of the russian terrorists who brought deaths, destructions, grief to our land. russian killers managed to occupy parts of Ukrainian territory where they tortured, raped and killed our people. Ukrainians will never forget and will never forgive thousands of casualties. Because of the war millions of Ukrainians had to flee abroad. Our refugees found protection in such countries as Germany, Austria, Poland, Norway, France, Slovenia, Hungary, to mention a few. The USA and Canada were hospitable too.

The war is still not over..  russian shelling hits and destroys the Ukrainian power plants, water-supplying pumping stations. They use the forbidden phosphorus bombs, cluster munitions. They try to do everything to break us, destroy our will to stay free.

Our great Ukrainian people pay a very high prize to be independent and free. But we know we’ll win and after the Victory we’ll become one of the most progressive prosperous democratic country. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to our Armed Forces!
