WASHINGTON, D.C.
If you go to the USA, do not forget to visit its capital - Washington. It's not part of any state. It's in the District1 of Columbia (or D.C. for short) and Lies on the Potomac River. It was named after George Washington, the first president of the States.
Explore the city's and the country's history and culture: visit the National Gallery of Art, the National Building Museum or Hillwood Estate, an art museum with a beautiful garden.
To spend more time in nature, take a walk in Georgetown Waterfront Park where you can go rowing on the Potomac River and play in a giant fountain.
There are also many amazing Landmarks in Washington Like the National Mall with the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial, the statue of George Washington on horseback and lots of others.
Other activities in Washington include shopping at City Center DC, going to the Angelika Pop-Up Cinema or visiting Ford's Theatre.
With so many things to see and to do you will never get bored in Washington, D.C. - that's for sure!
