Sure, I can bet, it will be great! Costumed characters will definitely immerse you in times when St. Valentine lived and created!

Pre-history of St. Valentine’s Day

Romance, love what can be better among both sweethearts? I suppose, you all know the origin of today’s holiday but was it really true? Who was really St. Valentine and is he a lover’s patron?

Student 4

To be true, I think it’s a legend but who knows? I read that St. Valentine was the Italian bishop who confessed Christ and was shackled for it.

St.3

Yeah, St. Valentine asked the emperor Claudius to repent but he refused and gave the priest to the official Asteria who had a blind daughter. He promised him to do everything he wanted if she would see through.

-Yes and I adjure your people and you to repent and accept Christianity as soon as you can

The emp. Claudius

-No way! Asteria!

Asteria

-Yes, my emperor.

The emp. Claudius

-Have a talk with that Christian or he will die!

Asteria

-Yes, my emperor, come here, Valentine! I’ve got a daughter but she went blind when she was two years old. I ask you can your God help her? If yes, I will pray to him too!

One of the legends says that St. Valentine married lovers secretly. The blind girl fell in love with him but their love couldn’t be mutual, as he was a priest, so he just sent her a Valentine’s card.
