Підтема : Велика Британія : розташування та клімат.

Мета : розширення знань учнів про розташування  та клімат Великої Британії; розвиток соціокультурної та соціолінгвістичної  компетенції учнів.

Завдання :

навчальні:  формувати навички вживання нових ЛО ;

                     вдосконалити навички аудіювання  тексту у звукозапису ;

                     сприяти  розширенню країнознавчого кругозору;

розвивальні:  розвивати вміння працювати  з інформацією,                             

                        медіа, комп‘ютером ;   

                        розвивати мовленнєву компетенцію( уміння розуміти зі слуху

                        зміст автентичних текстів (аудіювання));

                        розвивати вміння адекватно використовувати набуті знання та

                        вміння під час спілкування англійською мовою;

виховні:     вчити розуміти важливість оволодіння  англійською мовою і

                   потреби користування нею як засобом спілкування;

                   виховувати культуру спілкування, мовний такт і культурну

                   толерантність.

Тип уроку:    урок формування та вдосконалення вмінь та навичок

                        (із застосуванням ІКТ).

Обладнання: підручник, ММК (комп’ютери, підключені до мережі Інтернет), картки для роботи в парах, картки для створення груп, аудіо запис фізкультхвилинки.

Хід уроку/ Sequence

1. Вступ/ Introduction (4-5хв)

1. Привітання/ Greeting:

Teacher (T): Good morning my dear pupils! I’m glad to see you at our lesson/ How are you today?  (pupils answer).

2. Перевірка домашнього завдання/ Checking on homework.

T: You have done ex. 7 on page 210 at home. Let’s check your homework .

(5 учнів  за вибором вчителя читають виправлені речення, вчитель контролює правильність виконання завдання; декілька зошитів вибірково перевіряються, інші зошити збираються  в кінці уроку)

Мотивація/ Motivation

T: I hope that today’s lesson will be interesting and useful for you. We’ll speak about beautiful country Great Britain. You know why do we learn English. We vhave discussed it many times. But what for do we learn geographical position and climate of UK?

(Answers:   -     for future travellings;

• To broaden our knowledges about this country;
• If we want to learn a language, we should learn everything about the country: geographical position, climate, culture, traditions etc.)

You have already learned some facts about that country. And I think you are ready for the work.

      a)T: As you know one of the Britain’s favorite topics of conversation is the weather. Watch this video and see how a weather forecast is made.

      b) T: Now find the weather forecast for tomorrow in London and try to make your own in groups of 4. Choose the card and find the members of your group.

(учні об’єднуються в 4 групи по 4 учні в кожній за допомогою карток; кожна група протягом 2 хвилин повинна знайти в Інтернеті прогноз погоди на  наступний день і виступити з ним. По закінченні часу  представники груп  повідомляють свій прогноз погоди.)
