Мета:  повторити слова з тем «Професії» та «Одяг». Ввести питальні займенники Who? Whose?, запитання Whose is this? Розвивати пам'ять, мислення, увагу. Виховувати  пізнавальний  інтерес  до  вивчення  англійської  мови,  культури спілкування.

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення

5.Фонетична розминка

a) Пред’явлення/ зразок

Now we learn new sound [h].

b) Пояснення

When we say [h] our lips parted (губи розкриті). This sound creates a slight noise (звук утворює легкий шум). Repeat after me [h]-[h]-[h]

And we talk about words Who, Whose. We say “Who” when we speak about people. For example: Who is it? This is a girl/boy. But we say “Whose”? when we speak about his/her things. For example: Whose pen is this? This is a boy’s pen.

I’ll give you cards and you have to put Who or Whose. (Ми говоримо про питальні слова Хто? Чий?. Говоримо Who? Хто?, коли йде мова про людей. А  Whose? Чий? Коли йде мова про речі.)

1) Pre-reading

 Now look at the children at pages 78—79. They are preparing for the school show. What professions are they going to show?

Is the girl wearing a dress a singer?

 Is the girl wearing a blouse and a skirt a secretary?

Is the boy wearing a white coat a doctor?

Is the boy wearing a costume a clown?

2) While-reading

 Let’s read the dialogue and see if you are right. But first I then you.

Then you have to match pictures and numbers. Be very attentive!

3) Post-reading

a) Matching

 Ok. The first picture is Jane and Mary.

The second picture is Vicky and Jane. Vicky is a singer and Jane is a secretary.

The third picture is Mary and Bill. He is a doctor.

The fourth picture is Nick and Peter. Nick is a waiter and Peter is a clown.

The fifth picture is Peter and Jane, and Nick.

b) Test

Now I’ll give you cards. You have to choose right answer. Don’t forget to put your name and surname on the top.
