  1. Greeting

Good morning, dear boys and girls. Glad to see you. Let’s start our lesson. But first we need to stand in a circle and let’s sing our hello-song together.

Now it`s time to say “Hello” to each other.

  1. Greeting with a cards

I have a 5 magic cards. You choose one card and say "Hello" to neighbor as shown there. For example :

I chose a card "high five" so I turn left and give high five to Veronica. Then Veronica chose a card and say "Hello" to next pupil as shown there and so on.

  1. Warming up and defining a lesson topic

Naming the words from previous unit and guess the name of lesson.

I see that you are fine. So, let’s start our lesson. Look at the blackboard. What can you see there?

P: I can see some pictures.

T: Yes, your task is to guess the name of our lesson. Read the names of these words and choose only one letter from each word that is different.

  1. Introducing vocabulary

Let’s  look at the screen, listen to me and say after me, please.

  1. Look at the blackboard, please. You can see six baskets of different colors. We need to fill our baskets with fruits of same color.

T. What color is this apple?

S. This is red apple.

T. Then put it in the red basket.

  1. Watching video

A video time now. Watch a video and try to name all colours that you see.

  1. After-watching activity

Look at the picture and repeat after me. What color is it? –Its red, etc.

Now take one color ice-cream and answer the question What color is it ice-cream?

S. This is yellow ice-cream, etc.

1. Grouping

Now it’s time to play bingo-game. But before the game you have to take one sticks from my “magic bag” and find your group by color. The task for groups: be the first to fill out a card.

I get a card with the name of the color from the bag. You are looking in your field for that color. The group that first fills the entire field will win.
