I.Warming up

Good morning, pupils. Today we talk about different activities, clubs and we’re going to write an announcement.

First of all we divide some kinds of interest (jogging, judo, cricket ext.)  into 3 groups:

• What do we do with books, ( for example: we read, borrow, download, ext.)films, music?

II.Grammar

-Make up questions and give short answers.

-Make up sentences negative.

III. Writing

Pre-writing activities (The teacher uses the presentation)

1.When people go in for sport they often visit different clubs. Today we organize our own clubs and write announcements.

Please suggest some names of clubs. (Slide 4)

2.How do we usually start the announcement?

(We give information about place, time and day. Slide 8)

For example: We meet every Thursday at six o’clock in Milford village hall.
