My name is Claire. I’m a pediatrician and work at St Mary’s Hospital. I love my job although it can be very difficult. I help and look after sick children. Sometimes I work at night. I’m usually very tired after that. But helping children makes me really happy. I often sit and talk to them because they feel so lonely and scared. The best thing about my job is when a child gets well. It’s great to see a child smile again. My little patients often write to me after they leave the hospital. Some of them come for a visit too. I would never change my job because it is the only job I have ever wanted to do.
