Мета:  формувати лексичні навички і навички вимови; вдосконалювати навички читання і усного мовлення; розвивати логічне мислення; розвивати вміння аналізувати інформацію та визначати головні ідеї; виховувати цілеспрямованість та наполегливість у досягненні мети; почуття доброзичливості і позитивне ставлення до читання.

Обладнання: підручник, картки із завданнями, аудіо- додаток, костюми головних героїв.

Хід уроку.

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Привітання.

2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

Today we’ll listen and dramatize a tale about a silly king and a smart young man. We’ll give the king advice and learn about our tastes in cooking

 II. Aудіювання.

    Listen to the tale one more time and do the tasks.

 1 . Find true (+) or false (-) sentences.

1. The story is about a dragon and a princess.
2. The story tells us about a king who liked food very much.
3. The king had meals six times every day.
4. The king usually ate sandwiches at four o’clock.
5. The king usually had breakfast at nine o’clock in the morning.
