Тема:  Обід в ресторані, кафе.

Підтема: В ресторані.

Мета:

 1.Освітня: вивчити нову лексику по темі, вчити вживати її в усних висловлюваннях, активізувати вживання питальних структур.

2. Практична: оволодіти знаннями про вміння зробити замовлення в ресторані, а також оплатити рахунок.

3. Розвиваюча: розвивати мовну здогадку, творче мислення, включати нові лексичні одиниці в мовленнєву ситуацію, розвивати навички діалогічного мовлення, а також техніку читання та аудіювання.

4. Виховна: виховувати учнів поводити себе в ресторані згідно загально встановлених правил, бути ввічливими.

Обладнання: дошка, ноутбук, телевізор, тексти діалогів.

Хід заняття :

1.               Підготовка до сприймання іншомовного мовлення.

2.               Повідомлення теми та мети. 

T: Today we'll start learning how to order the dishes at the restaurant . By the end of the lesson you should be able to go eating out.

T: How are you feeling now? As for me, I'm a bit thirsty. I'd like to have a glass of juice right now. And what about you? Are you thirsty or hungry?

T:  Let’s drink a glass of water. O.K. Close your eyes and think of food and drinks. Now, write down first five things have come to your mind.

You have to find out whether the other people in your class ever eat out and if so where they go. Each of you prepares an interview card which could look like this.

3.  Розвиток умінь діалогічного мовлення.

1).  Подання діалогу для прослуховування.

1) Pre-Listening Activity. Етап підготовки. 

T: Before listening to the dialogue, please, repeat the words:

• to order – замовляти,
• roast beef – ростбіф,
• T-bone steak – стейк на кістці,
• jacket potatoes – картопля в « мундирі»,
• rare – сире,
• medium – середнє,
• well done – добре просмажене.

2)  Listening.  T:  Let’s listen to this dialogue twice and then will do some

exercises.

 “Ordering a Meal”

Waiter: Are you ready to order now, sir?

Ralph: Yes. I’ll have tomato soup, roast beef, mashed potatoes, and peas.

Waiter: That’s tomato soup…roast beef… mashed potatoes… and peas. How do you want the beef - rare, medium, or well done?

Ralph: Well done, please.

Waiter: Anything to drink?

Ralph: Hmmm…just water. I’ll have coffee with my dessert.

3) Post-Listening Activity.

T: Translate the sentences:

At the Restaurant

Waitress: Here is the juice that you ordered, sir. Would you like to let it wait for a little while or shall I put it now?

Man: I’ve a glass now, please.

Waitress: Are you ready for me to take your order?

Man: Yes. I’ll have the T- bone steak, please.

Waitress: How would you like it cooked?

Man: Medium red.

Waitress: Ok. That is a sort of the seasonal vegetables and your choice of jacket potatoes or chips?

Man: Jacket potatoes, please.

Waitress: Ok. One steak, seasonal vegetables and jacket potatoes.

Man: Yes. Thank you. (for some minutes)

Waitress: Was everything Ok, sir?

Man: Yes, that was delicious. Thank you.

Waitress: Would you like some dessert? We have cheese and biscuits, fresh apple pie and chocolate éclairs.

Man: I have a chocolate éclair, please.

Waitress: Can I get you anything else?

Man: Yes. I’d like a cup of coffee later, please.

Waitress: I’ll bring it to you in a moment.
