1. Pre-reading.
   1.        Are you a daredevil or a thrill seeker?

Daredevil       A person who engages in very risky behavior, especially one who is motivated by a craving for excitement or attention.

Thrill seeker       A person who enjoys taking part in extreme sports and other activities involving physical risk

2.  Make a list of extreme sports you know and compare it with your partner.
3.  Read the information about the following extreme sports and match them with the pictures:

BASE jumping is the recreational sport of jumping from fixed objects, using a parachute to descend safely to the ground.

Extreme ironing (also called EI) is an extreme sport in which people take ironing boards to remote locations and iron items of clothing.

Extreme Pogo or Xpogo is an action sport which involves riding and performing tricks on specially designed "extreme" pogo sticks. These pogo sticks have the potential for jumping over 3 meters of height.

Slacklining refers to the act of walking, running or balancing along a suspended length of flat webbing that is tensioned between two anchors.

Zorbing (also known as globe-riding, sphereing, orbing) is the recreation or sport of rolling downhill inside an orb, typically made of transparent plastic.

2. Reading
   1.  Look at the words and predict what the news may be about.

Words: scale (to climb up a steep surface), safety harness (belts or ropes that stop a person from falling), trespass (to enter someone´s land or property without permission).

2.2 Put the paragraphs in the correct order.
