Урок англійської мови у 6 класі

Тема. Готуємо страви.

Мета: навчальна – вдосконалювати  вживання  лексики теми “Cooking“, навчати дітей складати прості рецепти страв; розвиваюча – розвивати навички письма, діалогічного мовлення, розвивати пізнавальний інтерес до англійської мови; виховна – виховувати самостійність, поняття культури харчування.

Тип уроку: урок розвитку мовленнєвих навичок

Обладнання: мультимедійний проектор, роздатковий матеріал, картинки із зображенням фруктів та овочів.

План уроку.

1. Організаційний момент.

2. Введення  в іншомовну атмосферу. Бесіда з учнями.

4. Перевірка домашнього завдання.

5. Повідомлення теми і мети уроку.

6. Виконання тренувальних вправ.

Хід уроку.

1.Організаційний момент.

Teacher: Good morning, children. I am glad to see you again.

Pupils: Good morning, dear teacher!

Good morning! How are you?

We are very happy

To say hello to you!

2. Введення в іншомовну атмосферу. Бесіда з учнями.

How do you feel today?

 Do you like today’s weather? Why?

Do you like autumn?

Is autumn the richest season in fruit and vegetables?

What is your favourite fruit? And what about vegetables?

3. Фонетична зарядка.                                                            

“Milk and yoghurt, curd and cheese,       

Give me fresh tomatoes, please!

Give me carrots, cabbage, peas,

And some chocolate”, - said Liz.

4. Перевірка  домашнього завдання.

1) Гра “A quickly orange”. Вчитель називає слово українською і кидає м’яч учневі, учень відповідає англійською і повертає м’яч вчителю.

Your hometask for  today was to learn the verbs on the topic “Cooking food”. Let’s play with this nice big orange and check up your knowledge. I will tell you the Ukrainian words and you’ll have to answer in English.

2) Представити свій рецепт салату. (3- 4учні)

Teacher: You have written the recipes of your own salads at home, let some pupils read their recipes.

5.  Повідомлення теми і мети уроку.

Today we are going to train in using the words on the topic “Cooking food”.

We’ll speak about cooking different dishes, you will be able to make your own dialogues about cooking salad.

6. Виконання тренувальних вправ на розвиток мовленнєвих навичок.

1) Вправа на знання лексики. На плакаті записаний рецепт фруктового салату. У реченнях пропущені дієслова, учні читають їх, перекладають українською, називають відсутні слова і записують їх на дошці. Для полегшення завдання  можна звернутися до фото на слайді.

Teacher: The cooks are interested in the ancient recipes and now I propose you to read such a recipe. But it’s so old that the mice ate some words. You have to read sentences and guess the missed verb. If you have some problems you may look at the pictures.

The text: Today we’ll … fruit salad. Take one banana, one red apple, one pear, one orange and kiwi. Wash the fruit. Take a knife and … each fruit. Then … an apple, an orange, a pear and one kiwi into small pieces. Take one banana and … it. Then… banana slices on the olive oil.  … the fruit together. Take peanuts and … them. Add the roast peanuts and … them to the salad. The fruit salad is ready. Good appetite!

The key: cook, peel, cut, slice, fry, mix, roast, add.

2) Вправа на розвиток  навичок  перекладу українською  й читання. Учні працюють у парах. Кожна пара отримує текст діалогу, у якому репліки перемішані. Завдання скласти  речення у відповідному порядку. Перша пара, яка закінчить, читає текст діалогу, інші учні перекладають.

Teacher: You will work in pairs. Each pair will get the dialogue with mixed sentences. Your task is to put the sentences in the right order. Then we’ll read and translate this dialogue into English.

The text for the pupils.

• It’s a vegetable Greek salad.
• You need cheese, tomatoes, paprika, olives, cucumbers and eggs.
• Can I help you?
• But I have a problem. I have to roast the chicken and have no time to cook a salad.
• It’s very good.
• Of course, dear. I’ll be very grateful for you.
• What salad would you like to cook?
• Oh, our guests will come in two hours!
• What products do I need?

The dialogue

• Oh, our guests will come in two hours!
• It’s very good.
• But I have a problem. I have to roast the chicken and have no time to cook a salad.
• Can I help you?
• Of course, dear. I’ll be very grateful for you.
• What salad would you like to cook?
• It’s a vegetable Greek salad.
• What products do I need?
• You need cheese, tomatoes, paprika, olives, cucumbers and eggs.

7. Фізкультхвилинка.

Stand up and look around,

Shake your head, touch the ground.

Stamp your feet upon the ground.

Clap, clap, clap – and sit down!

8. Виконання тренувальних вправ на розвиток мовленнєвих навичок.

1) Вправа на розвиток навичок діалогічного мовлення. Робота в парах. Придумати  продовження діалогу про приготування салату.

Teacher: Let’s continue the dialogue. You will work in pairs to make up your own finishing of this story.

The example:

• Can you help me?
• Yes, I can. But I don’t know what to do with these products.
• I will explain you. First you should wash the vegetables carefully.
• And then?  Have I to boil eggs?
• Yes, you have. Then peel cucumbers and tomatoes and chop them.
• And what about paprika?
• You should also cut it into small pieces. Cut cheese and eggs. Don’t forget about olives.
• I will mix everything, add salt and mayonnaise.
• Oh, no, dear. It’s better and healthier to add an olive oil.
• O.K., mum. I hope my salad will be very delicious!

2) Гра “What can you do with this product?”

Один учень витягає картинку, називає продукт і ставить іншому учневі запитання “Як його можна приготувати?”

Teacher: Now I want you to choose a picture, name the object in it and ask the other pupil how he can cook it.

Example: This is a tomato. What can you do with this tomato? How can you cook it? - I can peel it and slice it.

3) Завдання на розвиток монологічного мовлення.

За опорними слайдами розповісти рецепт приготування салату.

Teacher: I want you to imagine yourself as a famous cook. Now try to describe the recipe of cooking salad. The photos will help you. You may use the phrases on the blackboard:

I would like to cook…

First take…

Then…

After that…

1. A recipe of meat salad with apples.

2. A recipe of tomatoes with Feta Cheese and basil.

3. A recipe of beet salad.

4) Вправа на розвиток навичок письма. Записати слова у реченнях у правильному порядку.

Teacher: You should put the words in the right order and read the following sentences.
