Про матеріал

Метою уроку є узагальнення лексичного матеріалу учнів теми "Свійські тварини", розвиток комунікативних вмінь та критичного мислення учнів.

узагальнити лексичний матеріал теми «Свійські тварини»; розвивати навички усного мовлення за матеріалом теми, розвивати навички читання з метою пошуку необхідної інформації; активізувати вживання дієслова “can” у стверджувальній та заперечній формах; активізувати ЛО теми «Кольори», числівники (1-20); виховувати любов та поважне ставлення до живої природи.

Обладнання:

Підручник, проектор, картки із зображенням тварин, картка із зображенням букви «а» та звука [æ], зображення чорного кота, картки для парної роботи

(НО₁), картки для індивідуальної роботи (НО₂), відеозапис пісні «Animal Sounds Song» ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t99ULJjCsaM), мішечок з фігурками тварин, картки з написами “can”, “can not”, “I think”, відеозапис пісні «If You’re Happy» (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUeS6gabSkE); картки для групової роботи «Flying Cats» (HO₃)

Хід уроку

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення

1. Greeting Good morning boys and girls! How are you today? Do you like today’s weather?

2. Aim Today we’ll read a text about a farmer and play some games.

How does a pig say? (oink-oink)

That’s right. Let’s review more animal sounds, listening and singing a song. Watch very attentively and remember what colors are the horse, the hen, the pig and the cow. (сл. 4) (The horse is brown. The hen is red. The pig is pink. The cow is white and black).

1. Speaking

1) And now we’re going to play a game with my magic bag. Let’s look what’s inside. (Вчитель дістає фігурки тварин з мішечка, учні хором називають їх. Потім всі тваринки кладуться назад до мішечка. Вчитель пропонує учням по черзі діставати тваринку, та, не дивлячись, говорити що то, на їх думку, за тваринки).

Так як ми будемо відгадувати і не зможемо напевне сказати назву тваринки, доцільно використовувати фразу “I think” (картка з фразою – на екрані сл. 5)

2) And let’s review what our animals can do. (На екрані слова “can”, “can not” сл. 6). Work in pairs. Choose a card and tell what your animal can and cannot do.

3. Reading

1) Now we’re going to meet a farmer (HO₂), (Сл. 7). Look at the picture. Who can you see? (A farmer). What animals can you see? (A cow, a hen, two pigs). And what is the farmer’s name? (Sam). Right. Read the text, fill in the table and tell how many animals Sam has got. Use the example.

Key: Sam has got six red hens.

Sam has got eleven white ducks.

Sam has got fifteen grey geese.

Sam has got one white and black cow.

Sam has got two pink pigs.

Sam has got four brown horses.

This is a farmer, his name is Sam. He has got a farm. There are a lot of animals on his farm. He has got six red hens, eleven white ducks and fifteen grey geese. This is his white and black cow. Those are his two pink pigs and four brown horses. Sam likes his farm and his animals.
