Мета

Практична:вдосконалювати знання учнів з теми “ShopsandShopping”, активізувати ЛО з теми, вчити складати ситуативні діалоги і користуватися ними на практиці; практикувати навички говоріння, ознайомити з вживанням модальних дієслів may/might.

Розвиваюча: розвиватитворчіздібностіучнів, навичкироботи в групі, готовність вступати в іншомовне спілкування.

Освітня: поглиблювати знання та розширювати кругозір учнів про класифікацію товарів та типів крамниць.

Виховна: виховувативвічливість та уважність при покупці товару,  культуру спілкування, підвищуватиінтерес до вивченнямови.

Обладнання:підручник «English 6» А.Несвіт, роздатковий матеріал, ПК та мультимедійна дошка.

 

PROCEDURE

I. Greeting and Warming up

T: Good morning, dear friends! I’m glad to see you! How are you today?

P: I’m great, thanks! And you?

T: I’m quite good! Oh, I see, Tanya, you have a new sweater.

P: No, I don’t! I bought it last month.

T: Realy? I haven’t seen it before. It’s very nice!

P: Thanks.

T: Children, how often do you go shopping?

    What shops do you like to visit?

    Do you have your favourite shops?

As you see, today we continue talking about shops and shopping. And I would like to pay your attention at the blackboard. There are aims of our today’s lesson. Let’s read them. Today we will…

 1. Revise our active vocabulary.

 2. Speak about different kinds of shops.

 3. Revise the Present Continuous  Tense and learn some new grammar information.

 

II.Main Part

T: Look at the blackboard! What can you see there?

P: Some words.

T: Right you are! Complete your dialogues  with these words and act them out.

  1. A: Did you buy any berries at the diary?

B: No, I went to the greengrocer’s to get some __________.

 

  1. A: Have you visited the butcher’s?

B: Yes, I went by ______________.

 

  1. A: Did you buy any bananas?

B: Yes, I went to the greengrocer’s with my ___________.

 

  1. A: Have you bought a toy for the party?

B: Yes, I have. I have been to the ________.

 

T: Great! Tell me, please, what types of shops you’ve heard in these dialogues.

P: The diary.

P: The butcher’s.

P: Greengrocer’s and market.

T: Right you are! Do you know any other shops? Write them on the blackboard to complete our mind map.

T: Yesterday I was at the greengrocer’s and bought some tasty fruits for you. Do you like fruits?

P: Yes, we do!

T: But they are not usual. They have pictures. Unite into 2 groups. Every team take a fruit, look at the picture and describe the thing you see there but not name it. The more words you’ll guess the  more fruits you’ll get.

 

T: How many fruits do you have?

P: We have 4 ones.

T: You may use your fruits to make up a dialogue “At the shop”.

 

T: I see you are tired! Let’s have fun and dance with our favourite penguins. 

 

T:Take your seats. You have one more interesting task. Put the words in the correct order to make up a sentence.

  1. We are writing a shopping list for tomorrow.
  2. They might buy some sweets at the confectionary next weekends.

T: What Tense Form is used in sentences?

P: Present Continuous.

T: Right you are! Let’s remember how we form this Tense Form. Look at the blackboard.

T: Open your book at the page 41. Read grammar information.

  • Use Present ContinuousTense when you  are sure about your future plans.
  • Use may/mightwhen  you are  not sure about  them.

T:Read the example on p. 41.

 

T: Writedown “Exercise 6 page 41”. Complete the sentences. Use the words from the    box. 

T: Who would like to go to the blackboard?

P: I would.

 

III. Summing up

T: It’s a pity, but we are lack of time. You were very hard-working and active at the lesson. Let’s remember what we have done at our today’s lesson.
