Тема: « In Harmony with Nature”
Мета уроку:
Навчальна: удосконалювати навички усного мовлення, читання, аудіювання, письма; поповнювати словниковий запас учнів; поглибити знання із даної теми, практикувати учнів в усному мовленні з використанням різних інтерактивних методів та прийомів; вчити учнів презентувати підготовлений матеріал; сприяти формуванню навичок сприйняття інформації на слух.
Розвиваюча: розвивати фонематичний слух, довготривалу, оперативну пам'ять; вміння логічно та послідовно висловлювати свої думки; розвивати мовну здогадку, інтелектуальну гнучкість, ерудицію, наполегливість, пізнавальні інтереси, вміння аналізувати процеси, що відбуваються у навколишньому середовищі; формувати вміння працювати в групах, робити узагальнюючі висновки, створювати умови для розвитку культури спілкування; працювати над розвитком індивідуальних творчих здібностей учнів розвивати критичне мислення; мотивувати готовність брати участь в іншомовному спілкуванні.
Виховна: виховувати прагнення до збереження навколишнього середовища; сприяти вихованню в учнів відстоювати свої думки, прислухатися до думок інших ,коректно вести дискусію; викликати інтерес до співрозмовника; виховувати почуття обов’язку , взаємодопомоги; прищеплювати любов до інтелектуальної праці; розширювати кругозір учнів, знайомити з реаліями життя; формувати етичну та естетичну культуру; емоційно впливати на учнів; формувати якості патріота; вчити чітко виконувати інструкції вчителя; формувати мовний такт і культурну толерантність.

Інтерактивні методи навчання: групова дискусія, проблемно-пошукове завдання, робота в групах, альтернатива, перегляд фільму по темі, вибіркове читання, презентація тематичного матеріалу.
Форми, методи та прийоми роботи: індивідуальна, колективна, робота в групах.

На кінець уроку учні повинні:
Вільно оперувати мовним матеріалом;

Хід уроку
- Організаційний момент (Greeting).
Good morning ,dear students! I do not ask you “ how are you today?” «How do you do?» because your answers are the usual responses to these questions, because the true description of your state would require much more words.
By the end of the lesson you should be able;
- To speak about main problems of the environment;
- To find the way of saving our environment;
- To identify the main ideas and details from the given text;
- To answer the questions of the topic.

( The motivation of the student’s activity).
I’d like to start our work with the “ Earth song” by M. Jackson. Listen to the song,watch the film and think about the main idea of it.
- What is this song about?
The song is about;
- pollution of air by plants and factories;
- destruction of forests;
- littering;
- dirty rivers, seas, oceans;
- extinction of animals and plants;
- the contamination of the soil;
- heating and greenhouse effect.
2. Основна частина уроку.
What topic can you suggest to generalize your ideas? The topic of today’s lesson is
“Let’s save our environment”. And we will discuss the way of environmental protection.
Flowers are pulled out the air is polluted

out litter is left birds and animals are
frightened
improper waste disposal- неправильна переробка відходів – disposal of waste in a way that has negative consequences for the environment

If trees are destroyed and people pick flowers and grass, birds and animals may become extinct.
It’s impossible to walk in the woods and be in a bad mood at the same time.
We must take care of nature for ourselves and for future generation

I.“ Think and say” . “ The Circle of Ideas”
The Earth does not belong to people, people belong to the earth
- What do these words mean to you? Can we do something to keep the earth clean?
I hope we can do many things to make our planet healthy, but we do not do this.
Not only people but also the nature is ill. Trees as well as animal world are in danger. They are killed by polluted air and acid rains. Tons of smoke and gas are emitted into the air . If trees die, we will die too, because they supply us with oxygen to breathe. That’s why nature needs protection.
2.What are the main environmental problems facing our planet today?
Water pollution is the most burning problem nowadays. Our planet Earth is mostly water. Rivers and lakes are polluted by garbage or poisonous chemicals with factories dump right into them. Nowadays half of the water sources are polluted with communal and industrial wastes. It is the result of economic difficuties
I think, that one of the main problem is air pollution. Air is a requirement for the life of people and animals. A human being could survive for a few weeks without food, a few days without water, but only a few minutes without air. It’s very important for our health to breathe clean air. In Ukraine many cars in the streets pollute the air with their exhaust fumes. It is very dangerous for the health of people.

III.What must be done to solve the problems and make a healthier world. Let’s match the problem and the solution

IV. Speaking “ Inform us about the Ecoproblems”. Monological Speech.
Let me introduce you to these three groups. The first group is the delegation from Japan.
Air pollution is a serious environmental problem in Japan, particularly in urban centers. Toxic pollutants from power plant emissions have led to appearance of acid rain throughout the country.
Water pollution is another area of concern in Japan.Increase in acid levels due to industrial pollutants has affected lakes,rivers and the water surrounding Japan.
As a result of earthquake in Japan of March,2011, ranks were broken by the cooling systems at least on two atomic electro-the station of country.
Greenpeace’s tasks:
1.Preservation of green shield on the planet;
2.cleaning and sorting garbage for its further processing;
3.the struggle for replace the atomic electrical energy to alternative energies;
4. struggle for the abolition of plastic bags;
5. struggle for the purification of polluted water;
6. exclusion of GMO products;
7. fight for the preservation animal world
There are a lot of problems solved by Greenpeace, but we were most touched by the problem of stray animals which at the present time is very crusial in our country.
Ukraine
Ukraine is a highly developed industrial and agricultural country. The serious problems of Ukraine are air pollution, land pollution and water pollution.
Pollution became very intensive in the 21centure as a result of the development of industry. Ukraine has the most polluted landscapes in the Eastern Europe.
Air pollution is very strong in many industrial cities especially in Donetsk…..
