Тема: Мій дім.

Тип уроку: Формування навичок писемного продукування.

Мета: активізувати вивчені ЛО з теми уроку; вдосконалити лексико – граматичні навички з теми, конструкції there is, there are; сприяти формуванню навичок писемного продукування, зорового сприймання та сприймання на слух, формування мовної здогадки, уваги.

Очікувані результати: на кінець уроку учні уміють описувати дім своєї мрії, використовуючи структуру there is, there are та прийменники місця.

Ключові компетентності: комунікативність (здатність спілкуватися рідною  та іноземними мовами), соціальна і громадянська компетентності, навчання впродовж життя.

Обладнання: сервіс Google Meet, відео додатки, дошка Jam board, аудіо додаток, веб-сайт Storyspheres , презентація Power Point, онлайн-платформа Kahoot, онлайн-платформа ESL games, Google форма.

Хід уроку

1. Початок уроку

1. Greeting

T: Hello everybody! Today we have an unusual lesson. Let’s say hello to our guests. Now let’s say hello to each other: watch the video, listen to it and sing a song.

 Children watch the video and sing a song “Everyday I go to school” with a teacher.

2. Phonetic drill.

T: Very soon, you will meet our foreign guest. So let’s improve our pronunciation skills for better communication with our foreign guest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xv1npxE0Vq0

Children watch, listen to the video and repeat the words to the sound of th.

3. Presenting the subject and the objectives of the lesson. Listening

T: Are you ready to meet our guest? He is calling us.

Children watch the video with Elon Mask and try to guess who he is.

T: Oh, we have some problems with connection. We lost the call. However, Mr. Mask sent a letter for you.

Teacher encourage the students to read the letter.

T: So the task1 from Elon Mask is to listen to the sounds and try to guess where we are.

Children listen to the sounds and name the parts of the house.

T: So how do you think what topic of our lesson is. Yes, you are right. The topic of our lesson is My house. At the end of our lesson you’ll be able to describe the house using there is / there are and prepositions of place.

4. Vocabulary revision. Kahoot.

T: Next task is to get into the spaceship. We are in an open space now so please change your background. Look around you how beautiful it is.

T: Task3 is to play Kahoot and practice the vocabulary.

5. Reading.

T: Look at the screen! When we talk about one thing we use the structure there is. When we talk about two or more things we use-there are. Now go to the link in our chat. Your task is to match the words with the correct structure there is or there are. Teacher elicits the students one by one.

7. Grammar.

T: Now let’s play the ESL games. Choose the correct proposition.

Teacher elicits the students one by one.

8. Writing

T: Open your copybooks and write down the date.

T: What day is it today? What dare is it today?

Students answer the questions.

T: On Friday I asked you to complete the google form. I processed and summarized  your answers. As a result, we have the house of our dreams. Go to the link in our chat. There you’ll get to know how our house looks like. Your task is to order the words, complete the sentences, read them and write into your copybooks.

T: So you coped with all task from Elon Mask. Now be careful! We are landing. So what is the best place in the world where Elon suggests us to build the house of our dreams.
