Тема: School life

Мета: закріпити знання учнів з вивченого лексичного матеріалу; ознайомити учнів з новими лексичними одиницями; вчити  вживати їх в усному мовленні; розвивати комунікативні здібності учнів; прищеплювати усвідомлення важливості вивчення англійської мови; виховувати інтерес до занять у школі.

Тип уроку: комбінований урок.

Обладнання: презентація, матеріали до завдань, картки для індивідуальної роботи, флеш картки.

Хід уроку

I. Організаційний момент

1) Привітання, повідомлення теми та мети уроку. (1 min)

T. Hello, children. I’m glad to see you. How are you?

P. We are fine!

T. Today we will continue to speak about school life and school things.

2) Brainstorming. 

So, let’s revise the names of school things.

(Show the presentation asking pupils different questions,

e.g. What’s this? It’s a …

Is at a …? Yes, it is… No, it isn’t.)

II. Основна частина уроку

1) Закріплення вивчених лексичних одиниць (робота в групах)

Look, our superheroes have come to us to ask for help because they are also pupils and they have to gather their bags to school but they don’t know what things they should take to school. So, first let’s make friends with them closer.

Thunder: I am Thunder! Look! (піднімає вгору цеглинки)

Flash: I am Flash! Look at me! (швидко рухається)

Misty: My turn! I am Misty. Look! (ховається під парту)

Whisper: I am Whisper! I speak to animals! Look! What’s your name? How old are you? (розмовляє з маріонеткою)

Cat: I am Tabby. I am four.

T. So, let’s help our superheroes! You are going to work in groups. There are bags and different things on your desks and your task is to put all school things in them, there are some extra things, be attentive! Do it very quickly!

I have a task for our superheroes, too. You have a piece of paper with the picture of a school bag on your table. It is made up of bricks of different colours, but the colours are written. So, you have to make the same bag of bricks of right colours! I hope you know all the colours written in the paper. If you need any help you can ask our pupils for help!

Now let’s see what a bag our superheroes have made! (учні по черзі називають кольори, з яких вони склали портфель, всі інші піднімають цеглинки з тим кольором, який називають супергерої і повторюють вголос)

It’s your turn now. Let’s see what things you have put into your bags. (з кожної групи по двоє учнів називають предмети, які поклали у портфель).

Count how many school things you have in your bags!

And what things haven’t you put in your bags? How can we name them?

Listen, children, while we were doing some exercises one of our superhero Flash was so hurrying to school that she lost all the things from her bag again. Let’s help her to collect everything one more time. (індивідуальна робота)

Учні за бажанням дають по одному предмету Флеш починаючи виразом

“Here is your…!”, а Флеш відповідає “Thank you!”

III. Заключна частина уроку

 Учитель називає шкільні предмети, а учні користуючись сигнальними картками – зеленою або червоною, погоджуються або ні.
