Тема:

Мета: сприяти розвитку в учнів уміння ввічливо висловлювати власні думки, використовуючи для цього лексичний інвентар  з теми «Відомі місця світу»; удосконалити навички аудіювання; закріпити використання граматичних структур для позначення пасивного стану дієслова; розширити країнознавчий кругозір та ерудицію учнів; удосконалити навички роботи в колективі.

Очікувані результати: на кінець уроку учні вмітимуть висловлювати власні думки, використовуючи для цього лексичний інвентар  з теми «Відомі місця світу» та  відповідний граматичний інвентар.

Тип уроку: традиційний

Навчально-методичне забезпечення:    картинки з зображенням історичних пам’яток Лондона та відомих місць світу, картки зі словами та завданнями по темі,  мультимедійний пристрій; відео презентація про визначні пам’ятки Лондона.

Each person   has got a sheet of paper with the names. One part of the class has got the pictures of famous places, the rest has got the names of countries, where these places are located. Find a pair and stick it to the blackboard.

Unfortunately, we don’t know anything about some famous places of London. Luckily, we have an opportunity to  have a video excursion to London. Watch the video and work in your group.

First put the places in order you see them in the video.

London is full  of amazing places. To know about the rest of them  we  have to revise passive voice.

You are to listen to popular English songs and find passive structures in songs’ lyrics.

Work in a group of 7. There is an extract from a tour guide of London about two tourist’s attractions, but some facts are missing. Prepare the  questions , using Passive voice and ask the opposite group to get the necessary information.  Use the example of the question
