Тема: Повторення теми «Харчування»

Мета: повторити й активізувати ЛО теми.

Удосконалювати техніку читання.

Продовжувати формувати навички писемного мовлення.

Розвивати навички монологічного й діалогічного мовлення.

Розвивати ерудицію учнів.

Виховувати інтерес до традицій харчування англійців.

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення

1. Привітання

T: Good morning, children! How are you getting on?

Ps: we are very well, thank you!

2.Повідомлення теми та мети уроку

T: Today we’ll revise the vocabulary on the topic “National Cuisine” and remember how to use 2^nd Conditional sentences. Besides, we’ll find out about a paragraph structure and practice in writing a text based on a particular topic sentence.

1.     I like sandwiches

Sandwiches are beautiful,

Sandwiches are fine.

I like sandwiches;

I eat them for my supper

And I eat them for my lunch.

If I had a hundred sandwiches,

I eat them all at once.

A sandwich may be egg or cheese

Or even peanut butter,

But they all taste so good to me,

It doesn’t even matter,

Jam or ham, or cucumber,

Any kind will do.

I like sandwiches,

How about you?

Учні поділяються на дві команди: «хрестиків» і «нуликів». Кожна команда по черзі обирає число, відкриває його й читає відповідне запитання. Якщо гравці відповідають на нього правильно, то вчитель замість цифри ставить значок команди, що дала відповідь: х або 0. Перемагає команда, що має три хрестики або три нулики поряд.

Запитання можуть бути такі:

1. What traditional British food can you name?
2. What are the three main ingredients of traditional Christmas Pudding in Britain?
3. What is “High Tea”?
4. What is a full English breakfast?
5. What is a continental breakfast?
6. What food helps you grow?
7. What food gives us a lot of vitamins?
8. What are beverages? (drinks)
9. Finish the proverb: “An apple a day… “

А) Гра “Wishes”. Учні в парах обговорюють запитання, подані на картках.

- What are three wishes you have for your life?

- If you could choose only one of these to come true, which would it be and why?

- What would be some positive and negative consequences (results) if each of these wishes came true?

- If you have a wish but your family doesn’t agree with you, what should you do?

b) Use the following prompts to make the Conditional II sentences.

1) study harder – pass the exam
