І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення
1. Привітання.
T: Good morning, boys and girls and our guests! I'm glad to meet you. How are you? I hope you are well. I see your shining eyes and smile on your face.
2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.
Т: Today we are going to. speak about the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. You will learn new words, read and discuss texts, do many exercises, play names and practice your speaking and writing skills. Let's start our lesson.

Try to guess the country we are going to travel to.
It’s a country where:
- people speak so much about the weather;
- you can see a monument to umbrella;
- the Queen lives;
- people are proud of their traditions and carefully keep them up.
And the country we are going to travel is ….. .
How can you get to this country? What is the quickest way of travelling?
When you leave our country you must go through the passport control.
- Hi! How are you?
- Very well. Thanks. How are you?

2. Подання тексту для читання. Впр. 3 (с. 213).
1) Етап підготовки до читання.

2) Етап читання.
Учні ланцюжком читають по одному – два речення тексту.
3) Етап перевірки розуміння змісту тексту.
- Відповіді учнів на запитання.

3. Фізична та фонетична розминка.
