Objectives: By the end of the lesson pupils will:

  • use previous lexis – days of the week, colours, numbers from 1 to 7;
  • take attitude towards their own and others’ responsibilities;
  • get the feeling of confidence by knowing the ABC;
  • be able to name letter Z z;
  • be able pronounce sound [z];
  • be able to write letter z.

  1. Colour Revising  Повторення кольорів

a). Let’s sing a rainbow! (3 minutes)

Ps. In turns, two by two, listen attentively to the song, choose the colours, and put them in proper order.

b). Matching activity (2 minutes)

On the board are written names of colours. Ps. should match “colour flashcards with their names.

Help the Artist to catch the colours of the rainbow. (1 minute)

Who will manage to paint the most of colours is the winner! Just 1 minute for you.  Please, begin!
