 Підтема:Розвиток граматичних навичок:Вживання Present Simple Passive Voice

Мета уроку: вчити учнів виділяти необхідну інформацію з прослуханого тексту; формувати навички вживання ситуативної лексики в лексико-граматичних структурах пасивного стану теперішнього часу; ознайомити учнів з правилами утворення та вживання дієслів пасивного стану теперішнього часу; повторити вживання правильних та неправильних дієслів;

сприяти розвитку логічного мислення; розвивати спостережливість та навички пізнавально-пошукової діяльності;

виховувати взаємоповагу та вміння співпрацювати; виховувати зацікавленість у розширенні своїх знань;

Обладнання уроку: підручник, картки з дієсловами, презентація до уроку, картки для роботи в парах; роздатковий матеріал з завданнями до тексту.

Хід уроку

I. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення

1. Greeting. Привітання.

T: Good morning, pupils. I’m glad to see you.

Ps: Good morning, teacher. We are glad to see you, too.

T: Today we have some guests on our lesson. Turn around and greeting with them.

2. Warming up.Введення в іншомовну атмосферу.

- Listening Comprehension. Аудіювання.В. 1,с. 84

- Ознайомлення з новими ЛО тексту(запис на дошці).

ancient –давні                                                        flesh – м’якоть плоду

remains – залишки                                                dried – сушили

worshiped - поклонялися                                     plentiful - розповсюджена

buried – хоронили                                                 granted- дозволена

considered weird – вважається дивним

- Аудіювання тексту з голосу вчителя.

- Перевірка розуміння змісту прослуханого тексту.

3. Check on Homework. Перевірка домашнього завдання.

T: Your hometask was to learn the poem “I am a pupil” by heart and revise the irregular verbs.

- Робота з картками.

T:And now some students receive the cards and go to the blackboard. Your task is to divide the verbs into regular and irregular and write their third form.

Card 1: cook, take, cut, add, make, ask

Card 2: grow, mash, put, eat, include, serve

Card 3: use, visit, grow, write, sell, bake

T: So, while they’re writing, let’s recite the poem all together. 

- Poem “ I am a pupil”

I’m a pupil.    

He is a pupil.

She is a pupil.

You are a pupil, too.

I’m not at home.

He isn’t at home.

She isn’t at home.

You aren’t at home, too.

I’m at school.

You are at school.

We are together at school.

II. Основна частина уроку

1. Актуалізація опорних знань.

- Tell me, please, how we can divide verbs? (regular and irregular). What do we do with regular verbs? What do we do with irregular verbs?

- Робота з картками.

T:And now ……  go to the blackboard. Your task is to divide the verbs into regular and irregular and write their third form.

Card 1: cook, take, cut, add, make, ask

Card 2: grow, mash, put, eat, include, serve

Card 3: use, visit, grow, write, sell, bake

T: So, while they’re writing, let’s remember and recite the poem “ I am a pupil”.

I’m a pupil.    

He is a pupil.

She is a pupil.

You are a pupil, too.

I’m not at home.

He isn’t at home.

 

She isn’t at home.

You aren’t at home, too.

I’m at school.

You are at school.

We are together at school.

T: - When we use am/is/are? Now I’ll tell you a sentence and you should make it negative and interrogative:

He is funny.

We are pupils.

They are teachers.

I am happy.

Jane is ten.  

It is autumn.

T: I want you to remember the verb to be and some forms of the irregular verbs because they will be useful for our lesson today.  We’ll learn some new grammar and will practice it with the help of exercises.

2. Presenting Grammar. Подання нового граматичного матеріалу: вживання дієслів пасивного стану теперішнього часу.

- Today we begin a new theme called “Present Simple Passive Voice”. We will learn why and when we use the Passive Voice. It’s a new grammatical theme for you that’s why be very attentive.

- So, what is Voice?

- And, now you’ll see the differences of the translations of active and passive voices.

-  Let’s look how to build Present Simple Passive Voice

- The last one we should know at this lesson is the forms of the passive voice in negative and interrogative sentences. Look at the examples, please.

- The negative form is built up by placing the particle not after the first verb.

- The interrogative form is built up placing the First (auxiliary) verb before the subject of the sentence.

 3. Grammar Practice. Відпрацювання граматичного матеріалу.

T: We’ve found out the rules about the Present Simple Passive Voice. And now let’s practice.

- Complete the sentences with the correct form of the verb “to be”

1) A frying pan ….. used for frying food.

2) Cakes …. baked in the oven.

3) Milk …. produced by cows.

4) The knife … used for cutting food.

5) French fries … eaten very often.

6) I … asked a lot of questions.

- Робота в парах. Учні виконують завдання в парах, а потім при перевірці обмінюються своєю карткою з сусідньою парою.

Match two columns:

1) Coffee                    a) are sold in this shop.                    

2)  Snails                    b) is made from leaves of tea plants.                        

3) Yoghurt                 c)   is grown in Brazil.                           

4) Tea                         d) am often invited for birthday parties.                            

5) Fresh vegetables   e)    are eaten in France.

Make up affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences using the Present Simple Passive Tense:

+ I ( to ask)  for help.

4. Reading. Подання тексту для читання. В. 2, с. 85

1) Pre-Reading Activity. Етап підготовки до читання.

T: We can’t imagine our life without potato and many of you eat dishes with potato every day.

- Do you like potato?

- What is your favourite “potato” dish?

- Can you cook potato by yourself?

- Can you name dishes which are impossible to cook without potatoes?

2) Reading. Етап читання.

Учні ланцюжком читають текст вправи по одному реченню з перекладом.

3) Post-Reading Activity. Етап перевірки розуміння змісту тексту.

a) Учитель пропонує класу ще раз передивитися текст і закрити підручники. Учні отримують картки різної складності для самостійної роботи  і письмово виконують завдання.

1) The bread and _______ have been the main dishes of all Slavonic people for centuries.

2) The smoking potato is taken out of the ______.

3) Butter and ______ are added and the potato is mashed into _______ soft puree.

4) Then the filling is put _______.

5) There is also a great selection of salads, hot _______ with ham, fried mushrooms and cheese.

Card 2. Put the sentences in the correct order to make the recipe of The Pechena Kartoplia:

 ___Butter and cheese are added and the potato is mashed into appetizing soft puree.

___Finally, the filling is put inside.  

___Then it is cut in halves.

___The delicious baked potato is cooked before customer’s eyes.

___The smoking potato is taking out of the oven.

T: Today you have known some new facts about potato and learned the Passive Voice. Let’s see if you remember everything perfectly. I’ll tell you the sentences and you should tell me what voice is this: active or passive. So, let’s start:

1) Cakes are baked in the oven.

2) My mother often cooks potatoes.

3) Butter is made from milk of a cow

4) We read the texts quickly.

5) Honey is gathered and made by the bees

6) Butter is made from milk of a cow

7) We like to drink milk.
