Theme: TEEN GENERATION
Aim: to develop students’ creative, critical thinking, collaboration, speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. To expand their cognitive interest and worldview. To teach them to respect other people opinion and lifestyle.
EQUIPMENT: presentation, pictures and handouts.
PROCEDURE
Organization moment: greeting and introduction.
Today we are going to talk about adolescents, their interests and different youth subcultures. Your task is to be active and be ready to collaborate with classmates as a real team.
1. Warming up: (slide 2) a poem
What do you think about these words?
(students express their opinion one by one)
2. Brainstorming: answer my questions please!
Do you always get on well with your parents/grandparents?
Do they like your fashion style...?
3. Matching and speaking
Match pictures with their names. Speak about likes and dislikes of such young people. Say what is right and what is wrong with them? May be some you have the same habits and is it good or bad?

Make up a dialogue using likes and dislike expressions, present the dialogue.

8. Group work ( Storytelling, slide 8)
Write a short story about some characters of our lesson using the expressions and grammar we have learnt today. Give each group different candies and ask them to use for naming the heroes of a story.
For example:
Once upon a time there lived and she was crazy about watching TV.
The girl was a gossip and had a friend . They were close friends and liked
to discuss other people. Nobody love them...
Groups present their stories and have fun. (The funniest story is the winner!)
9. Reflection:
I want to know your opinion about the lesson. Did you like it?
Was it useful to know about teen subcultures and what of them you like or don`t like?
10. Homework:
Write a letter to your pen-friend about teen subculture in your country.
