Тема. Hobbies and interests
Тип уроку: урок практичного застосування знань, умінь і навичок.
Мета: створити умови для активізації лексичних одиниць з теми « Hobbies and interests» і для удосконалення навичок читання, аудіювання, усного мовлення з використанням методів інтерактивного навчання; розвивати уміння вести бесіду у зв'язку з ситуацією, читати тексти з розумінням основного змісту, систематизувати вивчений матеріал;
спонукати до розвитку логічного та образного мислення учнів і формуванню навичок роботи в парах і групах.
Сприяти формуванню предметних компетентностей з іноземної мови.
Обладнання: тематичні малюнки, текст для читання “My hobby is reading”, роздруковані завдання для роботи в групах .
Перебіг уроку:
І. Орієнтація, мотивація навчальної діяльності
1) Організаційний момент.
Т: Good morning, dear friends! I’m glad to see you. Welcome to English lesson! How are you today?
- Ps: Fine, thanks.
- Take your place, please. I’m fine too. If you are ready, let’s begin our lesson.
2) T: Read these proverbs and try to explain them.
Every man has his hobby-horse. (American Proverb)
Business before pleasure.
A hobby a day keeps the doldrums away.

T: Today we are going to speak about things you like/ love to do. Also you will do a lot of interesting tasks. At the end you will be able to talk about your hobbies as well.

My hobby is reading
My name is Jane. My hobby is reading. I like to read books in my free time. I like funny stories, fairy tales, and poems for children. I like to read fairy tales very much. My favourite fairy tale is "The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Andersen. I have read it several times. Gerda is my favourite fairy-tale character. I usually read in the evening before sleep. I also like to read in a garden or in a park, sitting on a bench. Recently I began to read short stories in English. It is difficult for me to read in English. But I want to learn English, and I want to read books in English
