Тема: Travelling. Holidays in the countryside.

Очікувані результати: учні вживають структуру be going to, сприймають новий лексичний матеріал на слух, складають діалоги, відповідають на запитання, розповідають вірш на пам’ять, реагують на повідомлення, переглядають відео і потім виконують завдання.

Хід уроку:

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

T: Good afternoon, how are you? Today we are going to speak about travelling and holidays in the countryside. But first I want you to warm up. Do you remember our poem?

Students recite the poem:

We go by car,

We go by train,

We go by boat,

We go by plane.

We go by land,

And sea and air,

We go, go, go

From here to there

II. Основна частина уроку.

1.   T: I think it`s boring to stay at home on holidays. And many people like travelling. So we can travel using different means of transport. Some people travel by bus, by train, by plane, by ship or on foot. As for me I like travelling by car and by train.

I dislike travelling by plane.

And how do you like to travel?

P1, P2, P3  I like travelling…… I dislike travelling…..

2.   Speaking practice, reacting.

T: And now let`s dream. Imagine, that you are going to travel somewhere. I will say about myself and you will have to react.

For example: Fancy that! I am going to travel to Kyiv next year!

P1: How exciting! I am going to travel to…

P2: How nice…

3.   Grammar practice. Structure be going to. Граматична гра.

T: Well, let`s play the game “Catch the mistake”

I will say a sentence making mistakes and you will have to correct them.

I  are going to Lviv in January. He am going to Sumy next week. They is not going to Shostka on Friday. We am going to Kyiv next year. She are going to Odesa in summer.

 

4.   Practice listening. Watching a video and doing tasks.

Answer the questions:

1.   Where did Tom travel?
2.   What transport did he go by?
3.   Who did he go with?
4.   Did he like his trip? Why?

5.   Ознайомлення з новим лексичним матеріалом.

 

T: And now open your student`s books, please, find p 32 ex 1. Looking at the pictures you will see that we are speaking about holidays in the countryside. Try to match the pictures with the words.

Now listen and check. Слухають аудіозапис, перевіряють.

6.   Practice Speaking. Практика у діалогічному мовленні.

T: Looking at these pictures we think about holidays in the village. I think that many of you love spending time in the village at your grannies`.  So listen to the dialogue of our girls, please.

 

The dialogue.

 

A: Hello, Nastya! How are you?

N: Hello, Angelina! I`m fine, thanks. And how is it going?

A: I`m Ok. By the way, how did you spend your holidays?

N: Oh, my holidays were nice. I went to my grandma`s village.

A: Really? Do you like staying there?

N: I always visit my granny with pleasure.

A: Isn`t it boring to live in the village?

N: Not at all! I always help my grandma to feed chickens. I also help in the garden and play with my cat. When it`s hot I go to the pond with friends to swim.

A: How exciting! Can you show me the pictures you`ve made in the village?

N: Of course, I can. I think you will like them.

7.   Practice reading.    

T: Now I will read the text of ex 2 A p 32 and you will have to follow.

Students read the text one by one.
