Використання інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій дало змогу зробити урок цікавішим, формувати навички учбової самостійності учнів, виховувати вміння працювати в колективі,створює умови для підвищення інтересу до предмету,всебічного розвитку творчого потенціалу учнів. А це, у свою чергу, підвищує пізнавальну активність учнів, допомагає розвивати спостережливість,вміння узагальнювати і робити висновки.

Мета: Повторити й активізувати лексичний матеріал теми.

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

Greeting and aim

T. Good morning,children! Nice to see! How are you today?(Учні відповідають).

Good of you!Let’s start our lesson!Our lesson will be unusual.We have many guests at our classroom.Let’s greet them.

T. Look at the screen and try to divide the words and read the sentence correct. But first open your text books and write down today’s date.

T. Look at the screen again and check if you did everything correct.Do you have any ideas about the topic of our today’s lesson?

T. Pupils,what is our task for today, what must we learn at the end of the lesson?

Warming up

Вивчення скоромовки.

T. Look at the screen,you can see a tongue twister there.Your task is to listen to me attentively and be ready to repeat after me .(The teacher pronounce the tongue twister,the pupils listen to the teacher.Then teacher reads it again,pupils repeat it line by line.And finally pupils pronounce the tongue twister chorally without teacher’s helping.

T. Look at the blackboard, you can see four baskets there.Each basket has it’s own name: fruit, foods,drinks,vegetables.I have many cards in my hand,there are different words on them.Now I am putting the cards on the table.Your task is to come up to the table one by one,take a card and hang it іn a proper basket.Is the task clear?Let’s start!

2. Presenting New Grammar.

T. Now it is time to come up to the main part of our lesson.Today we are going to speak about countable and uncountable nouns.Look at the screen and write down the rules into your сopy books.(Учні з допомогою вчителя пригадують раніше вивчені правила вживання злі чуваних та незлі чуваних іменників).

T. Pupils, open your Work Books on page 43and do exercise 11.Your task is to put the words in the right columns.(Учні працюють самостійно,після завершення роботи двоє учнів зачитують злі чувані та незлі чувані іменники).

T. Now let’s revise the rules about using how much and how many.

Пригадавши правила вживання запитань з how much i how many, учні закріплюють дане граматичне правило власними прикладами і озвучують їх.

T. And now it is time for speaking.Open your books on page 99 and do exercise 2.Your task is to fill in the quiz questions, use “much” or “many” .Then ask and answer in pairs.For doing this task you have to work in pairs and make micro dialogues then present them to other pupils.

T. I’ll read you a text and your task is to listen to the text very attentively then do the task – tick the correct box in the table.But before listening let’s analyse the word combination to be hungry and translate it. (Учні з допомогою учителя перекладають словосполучення).

Учитель роздає картки для самостійної роботи і двічі читає текст.Учні уважно слухають і виконують завдання на картках.По закінченні роботи вчитель вибірково перевіряє три-чотири картки,один з учнів читає свої відповіді вголос.

T. There is a good proverb that I like very much: « We eat to live not live to eat».I think it is true because food is something that we need to stay alive. Food is a source of energy.Nevertheless I like eating tasty food even though I am not much into it.So, for some people food is a source of pleasure.But the food that we eat should also be healthy.

в)Ознайомлення з новими ЛО.

Учитель читає слова,заздалегідь написані на дошці,пояснює їх значення англійською мовою, учні хором повторюють нові ЛО та перекладають рідною мовою ( a politician, favourites, a custom).

с) Постановка завдання перед читанням.

T. Pupils, you are going to read the text « HOW THE SANDWICH CAME TO THE WORLD».But before reading you have to do the following task: I’ll give you the puzzles and you have to work in groups of two and three and to make a picture you can see on the screen. Are you ready? Let’s start!

How the Sandwich Came to the World

In 1762, there was a very famous English politician. Everybody knew about him because he enjoyed playing cards very much. One night he stayed at the card table for 24 hours. And he ate nothing but slices of bread with pieces of meat inside. His name was John Sandwich. The English name for a sandwich comes from this man.

Sandwiches were great favourites in Victorian England. It was the custom to “take” afternoon tea at about four o’clock. Many rich families ate sandwiches at that time.

Cucumber sandwiches were very popular. The servants always cut the edge of the bread, so the sandwiches were very small and delicate.

Sandwiches are less elegant now and often much bigger.

The English eat millions of sandwiches every day. They are a typical “snack” meal because they are easy and quick to prepare. You can buy sandwiches if you don’t want to make them yourself. There are thousands of “sandwiches bars” and cafés and even some restaurants that sell them.
