Тема: Winter is fun. Let’s draw a snowman!
(за підручником М. Ростоцької та О. Карп’юк)
Мета та завдання уроку:
Навчальна: продовжувати навчати учнів сприймати знайомі лексичні одиниці та граматичні конструкції на слух та тренувати їх у вживанні цих конструкцій у мовленні; формувати вміння учнів говорити про погоду та розваги взимку; закріпити навички учнів утворювати множину іменників;
Розвиваюча: розвивати лексичні та мовленнєві навички; вміння виконувати інструкції вчителя, навички індивідуальної роботи, творчі здібності, увагу учнів;
Виховна: прищеплювати інтерес до вивчення англійської мови, виховувати вміння працювати в парах, групах;
Інноваційна ідея, яку планую продемонструвати на уроці: інтеграція знань з англійської мови та образотворчого мистецтва
Обладнання: проектор, мультимедійна презентація, магнітофон, папір та кольорові олівці, виставка малюнків, картки зі словами для роботи в групах, ілюстрації за темою.
Хід уроку
I.Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення
1.Привітання. Організаційний момент
Good morning, boys and girls!
Good morning, teacher!
How are you today?
We are fine, thank you!
I’m glad to see you! Sit down, please!
2) Бесіда з дітьми. Показ презентації.
T: What season is it now? ( slide 2)
P1: It is winter.
T: What month is it now? ( slide 3)
P2: It is February.
T: Is it hot in winter? Is it cold? snowy? rainy? frosty? cloudy? Is the sky grey? Are the trees green? Are the trees bare? Is the ground white? (slides 4-6)
T: What is the weather like today?
P3: The weather is…..
T: Imagine you are artists. Every season has its own colours. What colours can we use to paint winter?
T: OK! Snow is white. The sky is blue. What colour are the trees in winter? What colour are the clouds?

And now let’s talk about what children can do in winter! Look at the pictures and
answer the questions!
Can children ski/skate/sledge in winter? (slides 7-11)
Yes, they can.
Can children ride a bike/ play hopscotch in winter? (slides 11-13)
No, they cannot.

T: Dear children! Now you can guess the topic of our lesson. We have three groups and three envelopes with letters in them. Your task is to make a word.

So, today we are going to talk about cold and frosty season – winter, the weather in winter and about what children can do in winter. The topic of our lesson is «Winter is fun. Let’s draw a snowman!», so we will sing a song, recite rhymes about winter. And we will read, draw and play games.

I can sledge down the hill.
We can make a snowman.

7. Drawing the snowman.
T: And now we begin to draw a funny snowman.
What colour is the snowman? What colour is its hat? What colour is its nose?What colour is a scarf?
Drawing snowman is easy and fun. Follow the instructions and examples, and you’ll soon be able to draw a funny snowman. Let’s draw a snowman! Start your snowman by drawing three balls.
Draw one big ball. And one middle ball. It’s the snowman’s body.
Draw one small ball. It’s his head.
On his head draw a hat.
Draw an orange carrot for his nose.
Draw 2 black eyes.
Draw a smily mouth.
Draw him a scarf around the neck and colour it green or pink. Draw 3 buttons on his body.
Draw 2 arms and 2 mittens.
Draw a broom in his hand.

T: Artem, recite a rhyme about snowman.
