Про матеріал

Цей навчальний матеріал спрямований на формування та вдосконалення граматичної компетенції учнів щодо вживання часів Present Simple та Present Continuous. Урок розроблено з урахуванням вікових особливостей та рівня володіння англійською мовою учнів середньої школи (рівень A2). Матеріал передбачає: пояснення різниці між обома часами; активне залучення учнів до практики через інтерактивні вправи, діалоги та візуальні підказки; розвиток навичок читання, слухання, говоріння та письма. Особливу увагу приділено контекстному навчанню: учні розглядають граматику не ізольовано, а в реальних життєвих ситуаціях, зокрема через комунікативні завдання, рольові ігри та міні-сценки. Матеріал може бути використаний як у традиційному форматі, так і в дистанційному або змішаному навчанні

Topic: Present Simple and Present Continuous

Aims:

Students will be able to use the Present Simple to talk about regular activities and the Present Continuous to describe actions happening right now, distinguishing between the two in context.
Students will understand the structure and use of Present Simple and Present Continuous tenses, applying them accurately in real-life situations through speaking and writing tasks.
By the end of the lesson, students will confidently use Present Simple to express habitual actions and Present Continuous for temporary, ongoing actions, demonstrating this understanding in both oral and written exercises.
Students will gain a clear understanding of the rules for forming Present Simple and Present Continuous sentences and will be able to apply these rules when discussing daily routines and current activities.
Students will become proficient in recognizing and using the Present Simple and Present Continuous tenses, understanding their distinct functions and applying them correctly in different contexts.

Activity 2: Practice using Present Simple. Purpose: To practice Present Simple in sentences. Technique: Fill-in-the-blank exercise.	"Complete the sentences using the correct form of the verb: 'He (go) to school every day.'"
