Lesson objective:
1. Warm-up
Task:

Introduction to the topic:
Show colorful pictures of different outdoor activities.
Give a short teacher’s talk about outdoor recreation:
"Outdoor recreation means activities you do outside in nature. It helps you feel happy and healthy."
Mini-discussion:
"Which activities from the pictures have you tried?"
3. Main part of the lesson
Listening activity
Task:
Learners listen to a short story "A Weekend in Nature" (twice).
After listening, they answer questions:
Where did the family go?
What did they do?
How did they feel?
Reading activity
Task:
Hand out a short story about children going on a hike.
After reading:
