Урок з англійської мови у 5 класі "Вільний час"

Тема: Вільний час

Мета: навчальна: актуалізувати знання учнів з теми «Вільний час», що були отриманні в початкових класах та розширити словниковий запас учнів новими лексичними одиницями, практикувати у вживанні нових лексичних одиниць в усному та писемному мовленні, закріпляти граматичні знання учнів з Present та Future Simple, Present Continuous, вчити читати та перекладати тексти з використанням нової лексики;

розвивальна: розвивати лексико-граматичні навички,  навички аудіюванння в межах теми «Вільний час», розвивати комунікативні навички англійською мовою, розвивати пам'ять, мислення, увагу, творчі здібності;

виховна: виховувати культуру спілкування, пізнавальний інтерес учнів,  вчити правильно організовувати свій вільний час та бути товариськими.

Тип уроку: урок вивчення нових знань.

Обладнання: кубик з наліпками погоди, два мікрофона, комп’ютер, інтерактивна дошка, відео запис фізкультхвилинки та мультфільму для аудіювання «Pluto on the  beach», інтерактивна гра «Граматичний тренажер», презентація до уроку, тематичні малюнки, підручник  «English 5» А.Несвіт, фішки 4-х кольорів для оцінювання відповідей учнів під час уроку.

ХІД УРОКУ

І. Warm up.

1) - Read the proverb, translate and tell how do you understand it?

“THE DAY IS BORING IF YOU DO NOTHING”                                             (Children can explain in their mother tongue).

• So, it’s very important to know how organize your free time. Today we ‘ll speak what can we do when we do nothing and how to spend the time useful.

2)  - We’ve learnt the topic “Free time” last year. I think, you can tell something about your free time.

(Teacher shows last year topic’s  pictures and children complete sentence:                       I CAN …. IN MY FREE TIME).

(Учні отримують фішки за відповіді: рожева- правильна відповідь, оранжева – відповідь з незначною помилкою, фіолетова – відповідь з кількома помилками, коричнева – невдала відповідь).

3) Game “Magic Brick”.  Children throw brick with labels on it to each other. When pupil catches it he/she looks at the picture of the brick and tell what he/she does in such (like on the picture) situation in their free time.

Pictures on the brick: sunny, rainy, snowy, cool/windy,                                                         at home, at the party.                                                                                                        Children’s answer: When the weather is … I like to …

II. Practice

1. Vocabulary work.    Game “Guess”

Teacher shows children slides with pictures and  words of  new lexica.  They have to match picture with word. (Учні отримують фішки за відповіді)

to listen to music – слухати музику

To go for a walk –йти на прогулянку

To read magazines – читати журнали

To watch cartoons – дивитись мультфільми

To go to the birthday party – йти на День народження

To play games – грати в ігри

2. Vocabulary practice.

Game “Interview”

The stronger pupil asks classmates from the first row:

• DO YOU …… (listen to the music, watch cartoons…) IN FREE TIME?
• YES, I DO/ NO, I DO NOT.

The weaker pupil asks classmates from the second row:

• DOES  HE/SHE …… (listen to the music, watch cartoons…) IN FREE TIME?
• YES, HE/SHE DOES/ NO, HE/SHE DOES NOT. (Учні отримують фішки за відповіді)

3. Writing.    Problem question

• Children, open your exercise-books, write down today’s date. Divide the page into two parts. Think and w rite “What would you like to do on weekends” in the first part.

4. Gramma practice. (Інтерактивна гра на мультимедійній дошці «Граматичний тренажер» або використати як граматичну картку Додаток 1)

• Let’s do the exercise  with heroes of cartoon “Prostokvashino”

5. Physical activity.

• Children, do  you like listen to the music? Dance? Sing a song?  I invite you to have some rest with music, song and dancing. (Вмикається відео фізкультхвилинки. Діти наспівують та повторюють рухи за мультяшками .)

6. Reading

1. - Open your books at page 75 ex. 3. Let’s read short texts with translation and tell “What is boring for one of the children?” Start working. (4 pupils read and translate parts of the text, translate them one by one).

2. – Do you remember the information from the text? Let’s check it up?

7. Listening.

-Whom do you like to play with? (Friends, sisters, brothers, classmates…)

-  Do you like to watch cartoons? (Yes/No)

- Let’s see the cartoon about Pluto and choose the right answer in the card.

Sea – море

 seal- морський котик

Octopus-восьминіг

Beach- пляж

Dangerous- небезпечний

Содержание мультфильма.

 

Pluto is at the sea.

The seal wants to play with Pluto.

But Pluto doesn’t want to play with him.

An octopus.

The octopus is dangerous.

Where is Pluto? 

The seal is looking for Pluto.

The seal helps Pluto.

He saves him.

Now Pluto and seal are friends.

They play together on the beach.

 

• Take cards and do the task into your exercise-books.

III Ending the lesson

 

1. Writing   a problem question

• At the biggining of the lesson you’ve written “What would you like to do on weekends” in the first part. And now if you are sure how to spend free time write “What will you surely do on weekends”

2. Marking children’s answers.

(вчитель рахує кількість правильних відповідей - червоні фішки; неповних – фіолетові; не точних – оранжеві та відповіді з помилками – коричневі фішки. Та виставляє загальну оцінку кожному учню).

3. Homework.

Page 76 ex. 6  write 7-8 sentences about activities you do in your free time.
