Конспект уроку з англійської мови у 6 класі на тему "Sports and games". Для розкриття теми уроку було обрано інтерактивні методи навчання: інформаційно-рецептивний (розповідь, пояснення, бесіда, повідомлення учнів, робота з ілюстраціями та додатковим матеріалом); репродуктивний, метод монологічного висловлювання, метод практичного використання знань, робота в групах, гра, словесно-дедуктивний метод та використання комп'ютерних технологій. До уроку увійшли такі види завдань: діалог, розподіл слів по групах, гра «Ланцюжок», творче конструювання. Належна увага надавалась розвиткові мовленнєвої діяльності учнів, а також збагаченню словникового запасу. Удосконалювався граматичний лад мовлення.

Тема уроку: Sports and games

Очікуваний результат: By the end of the lesson pupils will be able to talk about different sports and games.

                                                           Procedure

I. Introduction

T: Good morning, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. How are you today?

Oh great!!!

 

II.Aim.

T: The topic of our lesson is “Sports and games.” Open your copybooks and write down.

    Well, and the motto of our lesson is “Sport is health, strength and fun!”

    If you want to be healthy, strong and energetic you should go in for sports.

 

III.Warming-up.

T:  Now, have a look at the tongue-twister. Listen and try to say.

Bowling, bowling

Bea likes bowling!

Volleyball, volleyball,

Victor loves playing volleyball!

 

(Now say quietly!/ Now say loudly!/ Now say fast! And last time try to say a little bit faster)                  

Excellent!

IV. Vocabulary practice.

T: Do you like sports?  Of course, everybody loves sports because sport is health, strength and fun! Let’s think a little.

V. Checking homework.

T: For today you have to make a project “My favourite sport”. Will you tell us about it? Who wants to start?

 

VI.Relaxation. 

T: Friends, not only people love sports. Animals are crazy about sports too. Now we are going to find out what the penguins’ favourite sport is.

 

Put your hands up in the air and shake your booties round
Hand up on your toes and turn around, around
Hands way up high, hands way down low
Stamp with your feet and jump, jump, jump

 

T: So, what is the penguins’ favourite sport?

Ps: Dancing.

T: It’s dancing. That’s right.

 

VII. Grammar practice.

T: When we talk about sports we usually use three verbs: play/go/do.

Let’s remember! When do we use:

play- ball sports

go-sports ending in -ing

do-with other individual sports

a group work

 T: Work in a group and complete the sentences with play/ go/ do.

VIII. Listening.

T: Now pupils, look at the picture and please, name the extreme sport.

T: How do you think: are they dangerous for our health?

T: Certainly, yes. Extreme sport can be dangerous for our health. We must be careful when we do extreme sport.

T: Look at the picture.

  • Who can you see?
  • Are they friends or brother and sister?
  • How old are they?
  • Where are they?
  • What is their favourite sport?
  • Are they happy?

T: Well, these are Bob and Buzz. They are cousins. They are at an adventure camp.

                                Pre-listening activity. A group work.

T: Before watching a video about Bob and Buzz, I want you to do the following task. Work in a group and write the words under the picture.

 

                     While-listening activity. A group work.

T: You will watch a story twice. The first time and then the second time. Watch attentively and be ready to answer “What sport will they do at an adventure camp?”

T: Discuss in a group “What sport will they do at an adventure camp?”

T: Now, check your answers.

T: Watch a story again and match the days of the week and the activities.

                     Post-listening activity. A group work.

T: Are the sentences true or false?

  1. Buzz and Bob arrive at the camp. Buzz is very angry.
  2. On Monday they go horse riding.
  3. On Tuesday they go rock climbing.
  4. On Wednesday Bob is very happy when they go rafting
  5. On Thursday they go caving. There are a lot of bees.
  6. On Friday Bob and Buzz do snowboarding tricks.
  7. On Saturday they go parachuting.

 

IX. Writing.

T:  What would you like to do at an adventure camp? Write down into your copybooks.

T: Start like this:

On Monday I would like to try ….

T: You may choose any sport you like.

 

 

X. Summarizing and home task. 

T: Your home task: write what you would like to do at an adventure camp.

T: Your marks are …

T: How often do you use your phone? Do you like to send smiles to your friends? Now, I want to ask you to send me on my smart phone your smiles.

T: Look. You have got three smileys:
