МЕТА: ввести нову лексику з теми “armchair”, “carpet”, “ floor”, “bath” практикувати у її вживанні; представити прийменники місця “ next to”, “in front of”, “near”, “above” та відпрацювати їх вживання; відпрацювати структуру  “Where is the…?”  “It is …”; активізувати монологічне та діалогічне мовлення; розвивати інтонаційний слух, шляхом аудіювання, розвивати навички читання; розвивати уяву, логічне мислення, зорову та слухову пам’ять. 

Тип уроку: урок засвоєння знань.

ХІД  УРОКУ

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Привітання й повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

Т. Good afternoon children! Ps. Good afternoon, teacher!

T. I’m glad to see you! Ps. We are glad to see you, too!

T. So, let s start our lesson.

The topic of our lesson is « My room ».

2. Warm up. Уведення  в іншомовну атмосферу.

Use flashcards to revise vocabulary from previous lesson.

Use flashcards number 20-100 to revise numbers from previous lesson.

3 Presentation

1. T: Open PBs on page 40 and look at task 1.

Play the recording all the way through for Ps to listen and then repeat the words in chorus. Introduce new words from task 1.

4 Practice

1. Ask Ps to open Abs on page 32 and look at the empty boxes in task 1. Read the phrases ask pupils to repeat them.

T: Draw the pictures according to the each phrase.

2. Invite individual pupils to demonstrate their drawings.

T: Let’s solve the crossword in task 2 together!

Encourage pupils to work in pairs.

3. Ask Ps to open their PBs on page 40 and look at task 2.

Play PB Audio/Ps listen and read the questions and answers. Write prepositions
“ next to”, “in front of”, “near”, “above” on the board . Read this words and ask Ps repeat them.

4. Minute for relaxing. Listen and sing favourite Ps’ song.
5. T: Open the Abs on page 33 and point to task 3.  Look at the picture and complete the sentences. Ps read the questions and fill the gaps.
