Тема:     ПОДОРОЖ  розширює    наш   кругозір.

                          Travelling Broadens the Mind.

Мета:   Ознайомити учнів з новою лексикою та відпрацювати її вживання в

усному та писемному мовленні, сприяти розвиткові мовної здогадки;

                   навчати учнів використовувати лексику в різних ситуаціях; розвива-

                   ти творчий потенціал учнів, сприяти виробленню комунікативної          

                    компетенції, розвивати мовну здогадку та довготривалу пам’ять,

                    виховувати культуру інтелектуальної праці.

Обладнання: картки для групової роботи над текстом  “Travelling”, картки

                                 З новою лексикою, індивідуальні картки для виконання

                                 Вправ з граматики, картки для читання діалогів у парах.

Міжпредметні зв’язки: геграфія.

Тип уроку: засвоєння нових знань, умінь, навичок.

І. Підготовка до сприйняття  іншомовного мовлення

T. The topik of our today’s  lesson is “Traveiling”. By the end of the lesson you will be able:

– to recognize, understand and use the new words, word combinations when reading           the  text;

• to exchange information on the basis of the text and a given situation.

2.Warm-up. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу

Introduction

Travelling  is  exiting, do  you  agree?

From the  very  antient  times people wanted to explore another cuontries. They used primitive transport , they  spent much  time to  get  somewhere and  tried and tried.

Dream  Holiday

Imagine that you’ve won  a  lot  of  money  in  a  competition. Plan  an  interesting  trip  around  the  world with your  partner. Discuss the  following questions. Make notes.

• Where are you going to  start  from?
• What  time  of  the  year  should  we  travel?
• How  many  countries  and  cities  are  we  going  to visit?
• Which  places  are  we  going  to  stay  in  for   some  time?
• What  are  we  planning  to  do  and  see  there?
• How  much  money  should  we  take?

1. Presentation. Уведення  та  активізація  лексики  теми “Подорож”

1) Listen  and  read  the  words (ex.1 p. 118)

Match  them  with  their  Ukrainian  equivalents  given in the  box.

2) Writing. Make up sentences  with new  words.

Етап  підготовки до  читання.

Discussion 

• Is travelling  popular nowadays?
• What means  of travelling do you know?
• What  is the fastest way  of  travelling?
• Do  you  think  people  will  soon  travel  to  other  planets?

 3.  Reading.  (Ex. 1,2 p. 118)      

Пред’явлення  тексту  для  читання

• Читання  і  переклад  тексту.
•  Stripe  story.

 Учні  отримують  кожне речення  тексту  на  окремій  паперовій  смужечці.  Вони  повинні  скласти  текст  у  тій  же  послідовності,  не  дивлячись  у  книжку,  а  потім  читають  кожен  своє  речення.

4.  Post-Reading  task.

• Робота  в  парах.  (Учні  ставлять  запитання  за  змістом  тексту  і  відповідають  на  них).
• Role  play.  Рольова  гра.

Pretend  to  be  a  guide  of  a  travel  bureau.  Give  advice  to  travellers  for  better  place  or  planet.

5. Vocabulary  practice.

Практикування  у  вживанні  тематичної  лексики.

T. Which  form  of  transport – train,  bus,  car,  ship,  plaine – do  you  associate  with  each  of  the  phrases  below?

           Кожен  учень  отримує  картки,  на  яких  зображені  різні  види  транспорту,  якими  можна  подорожувати, – потяг,  автомобіль,  автобус,  корабель,  літак.  До  нього  додається  список  слів.  Учні  мають  уписати  слова  у  відповідну  колонку  залежно  від  того,  з  яким  видом  транспорту  асоціюється  це  слово.

6. Grammar Review.

T. Let’s revise some grammar  rules. You  have  cards  with  sentences.  But  there  are  many  mistakes  there. Read these  sentences, try  to  find and  correct  them.
