THE EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY ‘A TRIP TO LONDON’’
Мета: формування в учнів наступних компетентностей:
- ключових , зокрема: вміння вчитися – самоорганізовуватися до навчальної діяльності у взаємодії з іншими учасниками навчально-виховного процесу; проявляти зацікавленість у навчанні;
- загальнокультурної – орієнтуватися в особливостях національної і загальнолюдської культури;
- соціальної – почуватися часткою колективу, жити з ним спільним життям, вміти спілкуватися з друзями, шанобливо ставитися до дорослих;
- здоров’язбережувальної – розуміння необхідності виконання фізкультхвилинок та їх вплив на здоров’я людини;
- предметні : активізувати використання учнями лексики по темі уроку; продовжити тренувати їх у використанні ступенів порівняння прикметників; розвивати в учнів навички аудіювання, читання, говоріння та письма англійською мовою по темі уроку; удосконалювати їх мовні та мовленнєві навички; продовжити формувати інтерес до країни, мову якої вивчають та англомовної дитячої культури; сприяти розвитку їх уяви та критичного мислення.
Обладнання: підручник з англійської мови О. Карп’юк для 4 класу , зошит, географічна карта, відеофільм “London Sightseeing”, мультимедійна презентація “Famous Sights Of London”, фізкультхвилинка “Can you…?”, планшет, аудіо записи пісень ‘The Song Of People’, “Fly to London”, “London Bridge is falling down” та ‘Goodbye Song’.

T.: Good morning, children! Are all present today? Who is absent? Are you ready for our activity today?
Today we’ll make “Virtual Trip to London”.
2. Вступна частина заходу: “The Song Of People” а) Aудіювання та виконання пісні “The Song Of People” б) Питання на розвиток критичного мислення
- What is this song about?
- And what is a city?
- And do you live in a city or in a village?
- Do you like it?
- What city is bigger Kyiv or Kirovograd?.
- What is the most beautiful city in our country?
- Do you like this song? Why?
П. Основна частина заходу. A Virtual Trip to London
2.1. T.: Now watch and listen to a song “Fly to London”. What places of London are there in the song?
2.2. T.: Т: Today I invite you to visit London, the capital of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (showing on the map). But at first let’s prepare for this trip and learn which places of interest we can see and visit there. Watch a video “London Sightseeing”. Remember interesting places to visit in London. Be ready to name them.
2.3.: T.: Read the following proper names: the Buckingham Palace, the Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, the Trafalgar Square, the St. Paul’s Cathedral, the British Museum, the Natural History Museum, the National Gallery, the Tate Gallery, Big Ben, the Piccadilly Circus, the Gide Park.
Match them with appropriate pictures.
